Abstract

Description
本发明涉及切割弹性材料的设备,尤其涉及切割不同截面形状的弹性材料的设备,这些材料包括被加强了的部分及具有以后将拼接在一起的切割端部分。
切割弹性材料的方法及设备在本领域内是公知的。现有的切割方法及设备包括切割轮,超声波、剪型切割器及截断刀。虽然截断刀是相当可行的,但亦有些缺陷。缺陷之一是在刀穿透弹性材料的过程中有使弹性材料的切割表面变形的倾向。这会使弹性材料端部的拼接变得更为困难。其缺陷之二是,随着刀刃变钝或小块弹性材料在刀刃上的积存,切割表面的质量逐渐变坏。其第三种缺陷是刀刃不能以小于30°角切割轮胎外胎。此外,在切割时,进行剪切的刀刃有产生热的趋向,而且在进行大量切割时,刀刃的温度会升高,因而在某种情况下,在这种切割条件下,未硫化的弹性体会被预硫化。这会进一步限低切割切缘被正确拼接的可能性。
本发明的切割器能以小于30°角切割外胎而不产生变形或预硫化。切割工作可精确和迅速地进行。由于切割设备的改进,该切割器可以使被切割的弹性体的拼接表面及拼接质量得以改善。
本发明的目的在于提供一种新的、改进了的切割弹性材料的设备。
具体说来,本发明提供一种切割弹性材料的设备,该设备具有一根有第一、第二端部的丝;第一、第二固紧装置,用于将丝以拉紧的状态固紧在紧固装置之间;一对支承第一、二固紧装置的支臂,在由一安装在一马达驱动的旋传轴上的扁心轮驱动时,支臂可以作枢轴式摆动;一传送机构在丝与弹性材料之间产生一相对运动,从而使丝在摆动时切过弹性材料。
根据本发明的另一个方面,提供了一种在预定切割位置、以预定角度沿支承长形体的传送器将弹性材料长形体切成定长的设备,传送器在预定切割位置处有一个孔,该设备具有:切割组件,用以将之移动通过孔,切割组件具有一其端部支承在分隔开的支臂上的丝切割件,支臂以枢轴方式安装在切割组件上,每个支臂都有一个使支臂摆动的枢轴安装件及与支臂连接、用于使每个支臂围绕枢轴安装件摆动,从而使切割件摆动而在弹性材料体上开一个切口的动力装置,以及用于提供切割组件相对运动使之穿越长形体以便使切口加深并在预定切割位置处透过长形体。
根据本发明的另一个方面,还在长形弹性材料体第一截面的第一切割端与长形弹性材料体的第二截面的第二切割端之间提供一种拼接,第一切割端有一第一拼接面,第二切割端有一个与该第一拼接面接合的第二拼接面,在拼接以前,第一第二拼接表面具有纹理模糊的表面,它是通过与弹性材料体相隔位置处的摆动丝往复动来切断该长形材料体而形成的。
根据本发明的又一个方面,为弹性材料体提供一个拼接表面,该表面具有用摆动丝材料横向切断材料体形成的纹理模糊的表面(textured smeared surfaces)。
本发明的一个特点是提供一种切割弹性材料的设备。
本发明的另一个特点是提供一种切割弹性材料的设备,它们能改善切割边缘的质量,从而使由该材料制作的组成件能更好地拼接。

现在参看附图,所展示的附图只是用于说明本发明的推荐实施例,而不是用来限定本发明。图1展示本发明的一切割设备的正视图。本设备有一个切割组件10,组件10有一切割丝12。切割丝推荐用高拉伸(强度)钢制作,它具有第一端14,第二端16,切割丝12之截面推荐为圆形,其直径范围为0.01英寸(0.0254cm)-0.050英寸(0.129cm)。本实施例推荐原切割丝12直径为0.050英寸。
切割线12之第一、二端14、16固紧于紧固装置中。本实施例推荐的紧固装置为夹套22,24。参看图3,它是一个长形夹套22的放大图。下面对夹套22的说明也适用于夹套24。夹套22有一个第一内圆筒形套28,其上有一外螺纹面32。夹套32还有一第二外圆筒形套即蝶形螺母38,其上有一用于与第一筒套28的外螺纹结合的内螺纹40。套38可相对第一套28转动,以便将丝12的第一端14紧固于夹套块41之内。
由于丝12总是通过第一支臂42的枢轴销30的中心,故它总是被均匀地加载的,由此可大大减少或消除在作业期间内的丝扭曲或弯曲的可能。此外,枢轴销30在切割周期循环内消除丝12的弯曲应力。在切割弹性材料期间,丝12可变形成为弓形。这种弓形通常在压紧点处产生弯曲应力,但是由于枢轴销30的作用,弯曲应力可被卸载,因而丝的寿命可以提高。丝12可以用螺纹旋入夹套22、24之端部,这有助于丝之更换。
一旦丝12用螺纹穿过夹套22,套38就被转动而将丝12固紧于其内。由于蝶形螺母38之张紧是沿丝12之轴线的,故在作业期间,丝12不会被扭弯或弯曲。此外,夹套块41之内端36有一小角度的倾斜面43,用以用于拧形螺母38时而产生大的压紧力。
弹簧销44防止在螺母38被转动时夹套块41的转动,这样就使丝12不被扭转和受力。在蝶形螺母被松开时,弹簧销44还有留住夹套块41的功能。
参看图3A,该图为展示夹套块41的端视图。可以看到,夹套块41的压紧件45提供了环绕丝12的几乎整个外周面的接触。这种几乎是360°的接触相对于两件式压板中建立的标准的两点式接触是一种大改进。
参看图1,2,第二夹套24以枢轴方式安装于第二支臂48上,支臂48又以枢轴方式安装于架52上。第一支臂42也以枢轴方式安装于架52,并用一中心连杆54与第二支臂连接。
参看图2,丝12被处于一倾斜位置上,也说是说,丝12相对一个含有弹性材料或与含弹性材料的平面平行的平面P1成一角度WA。虽然该角度的推荐值大约为22.5°,但角度WA可在10°-80°范围内改变。这对于在其切割角度方面受很大限制的现有技术切割机构来说是一种改进。作为一个例子,本申请公开的切割设备可特别用于切割未硫化的轮胎外胎。本发明切割设备可能的角度范围扩大了轮胎设计者可能想要的范围。
参看图1,2及4,支臂42、48被摆动以使丝12以某一摆动速度被摆动。在本推荐实施例中,偏心轮60被固定于一变速马达68的一输出轴64上。偏心轮60借助于一曲柄杆62以枢轴方式与第一支臂42连接。变速马达可被调整,轴64由此被转动,使摆动速度可变到高达约2000次/分。在本推荐实施例中,摆动速率是根据参数如待切割的弹性材料之种类、厚度及丝12的送进速度来调节的。在切割轻轮胎外胎时,一种推荐的方案是摆动速率为1600次/分、送进速度是2.25英寸(5.72厘米)/分。
继续参看图1,2,切割组件10还具有用于在丝12与待由切割组件10切割的弹性材料之间产生相对运动的一送传机构。在本实施例中,传送机构具有由变速马达78驱动的滚珠丝杠74。架52安装在线性支承件82上,该支承件82以可滑动的方式支承在安装于固定支承件88上的杆87上,用以提供架相对于固定支承件的低摩擦运动。
参看图6,切割组件10还具有一压紧组件96,用于在弹性材料板被摆动着的丝12切割时将该板压紧。弹性材料如图2和图6所示位于平面P内,而压紧组件96安装在固定支承件88上。支架98支承多个压紧件100,它们以肩并肩的相对关系被压紧在支架端件104与106之间。压紧件100可沿垂直方向被调整,以便使之与待切割的弹性材料例如一个轮胎外胎的轮上适应。支架98安装在导杆105上,并可由一气动活塞汽缸组件110使之沿垂直方向移动而与弹性材料结合或分开,组件110与如压缩空气站一类的压缩空气源连接。
在作业中,将如图10和11所示的轮胎外胎79一类的长形弹性材料件置于在支承平面P内的一支承上,支承可以是一种皮带传送机,并用压紧组件96将之压紧。使马达68起动,从而使曲柄杆62摆动第一支臂42,第一支臂42是中心连杆45与第二支臂相连的,故亦使第二支臂摆动,从而使丝12摆动。然后起动马达78,使架52运动于如图1所示的左边,从而丝12从一个相邻于马达78的位置处被移动到与弹性材料外胎79接触。
随着摆动着的丝12与外胎79的弹性材料接触,在该材料上形成一切口。随着丝12被进一步前移而穿过外胎79,丝12以小增量方式移动切口前面的材料,从而使得丝12能均匀地前进。很明显,弹性材料的接触层对丝12的粘附作用有助于切割进行,在该接触层的剪切应力极限到达之前,粘附作用一直存在。如图11所示,一个切割表面80A可以通过提供带有由往复运动着的丝12涂抹未出的平行的沟81与棱条的表面这一过程来制备条纹。已发现,表面80A可如期望的那样用于拼接轮胎外胎79切割端。事实上,业已发现,通过摆动着的切割丝横越切过弹性材料的轮胎组成件切成的该组成件可提种切割拼接表面80A与80B之间的拼接,这种拼接不要粘结剂即可获得良好的拼接质量。就外胎79或别的轮胎组成件来说,切割的部分有切割成的端部,在轮胎制作机上,这些端部可以被拼接成一环形。
如图11所示的切割拼接面80A是通过沿从左到右横越切割外胎79切割而成的。切割丝12可能将弹性材料移位并使该表面稍微弄歪。也是从左到右切割成的面80B已被发现是具有相同量的变歪。因此在被拼接时,而80A,80B是匹配的,并可提供拼合表面。
参看图8,9,其中所展示的本发明的另一个实施例具有双切割组件10A,10B,它们被安装在一个基座120上,从而使得弹性材料的两个组成件121A用121B可被同时切割。双切割组件10A、10B具有与上面介绍过的图1-5所示实施例相似的部件。

使得用连杆54A、54B相连的支臂42A、48A及42B、48B摆动的马达68A有一驱动皮带轮134,皮带轮134用皮带138与用于一切割组件10A的偏心轮60A及用于另一切割组件10A的偏心轮60连接。偏心轮60A、60B通过曲柄杆62A、62B与支臂48A、48B连接,从而使得马达68A被转动时,皮带52A被驱动而使偏心轮60A、60B转动从而使丝12A、12B被摆动。
装设在卷筒128A、128B上的组成件121A、121B可以用压紧组件129A、129B来压紧,压紧组件与在那儿切割该组成件的切割位置130A、130B相邻。4个压紧组件129A、129B可以被应用于并排放置的切割位置130A、130B的各侧面的一个上。每个压紧组件129A、129B都有一组件140,这些件并肩设置且可绕一个枢轴142转动。如图7所示每个件140都有一压紧端144和一致动端146。致动端146处于与可吹气的薄膜148、150相接触。通过使薄膜148、150中的一个膨胀,组成件121A、121B的弹性材料可被压紧在切割位置130A、130B处。薄膜的膨胀使每个件140均绕枢轴142转动而进入与组成件接触。随着每个件140进入接触状态,它们就与组成件121A、121B的截面形状相适应。薄膜148、150中的另一个也可被膨胀,以便在切割组成件121A、121B之后使件140离开切割位置130A、130B。
图8、9所示设备具有切割丝12A、12B,它们的位置安置得使丝在既与切割方向成锐角又与支承面或轮鼓表面成锐角的情况下横切过组成件121A、121B。这样就使得切割压力既朝前又向下,它使这种成角度的切割产生出完整的倾斜薄边缘。
在本实施例中,第一切割丝12A被设计成相对第二切割丝在摆动相位上差180°,以确定在组合部件10B中的振动为最小值。
已结合推实施例介绍了本发明,很显然,对于那些阅读并理解了本说明书的那些人可以作出各种改型和替换。本申请人有意包括那些来自所附权利要求实质内容的一切改型、变换及其等效置换。
Claims (10)
1.一种用于在预定切割位置处以与传送器一预定角度将长形弹性材料体切割成定长的设备,该传送器用于支承长形材料体并在预定切割位置处有一长孔,该设备具有一个可穿过该孔运动的切割器组件,该组件有一切割丝,丝以其每一端均支承在彼此分开的、以枢轴方式安装在切割器组件的支臂上,每个臂有一个用于作摆动的枢轴式安装件,一动力装置与支臂相接,以便使每一支臂均回绕该枢轴式安装件摆动,从而使切割丝作往复运动而在长形弹性材料体上切出一切口,以及提供使切割器组件作横向越过所述长形材料体的相对运动从而使之在预定切割位置处使切口延伸过长形材料的装置。
2.如权利要求1所述设备,其特征在于,切割丝具有圆形截面。
3.如权利要求2所述设备,其特征在于,该丝是直径为0.0076-0.023厘米的不锈钢丝。
4.如权利要求3所述的设备,其特征在于,摆动支撑臂的装置包括一具有驱动马达轴的驱动马达,一安装在驱动马达轴上的偏心轮,一将支臂与偏心轮连接以使支臂摆动的连杆。
5.如权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于,丝的每一端均用安装在每个支臂上、用以与丝结合的夹套压紧,每个夹套均有一螺母件,用以将夹套件夹住所述的丝。
6.如权利要求5所述的设备,其特征在于,每个夹套均以枢轴方式安装于一个支臂上。
7.如权利要求6所述的设备,其特征在于,夹套以枢轴方式安装在支臂上,其中切割丝的轴心线通过每一个枢轴式安装件的枢轴销的中心,以便在调整支臂使丝张紧时能防止丝弯曲或扭曲。
8.如权利要求5所述的设备,其特征在于,夹套件支承在一个有弹簧销的套件上,用以使销与夹套件结合而防止夹套件在套中转动并将之维持在套件中。
9.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,切割器组件的位置可以相对传送器进行调整,从而使之在与传送器成一角度的情况下切割长形体而提供长形体的倾斜端。
10.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,具有多个并排安置的压紧件,压紧件安装在压紧件的第一、二端之间的一个位置处的支承轴上,各第一端被放置在可在邻接切割位置的位置处与长形材料体相接触处,各第二端伸进上可膨胀薄膜与下可膨胀薄膜之间的空腔内,上、下可膨胀薄膜均包含在该空腔内;用于可选择地使所述上、下可膨胀薄膜膨胀或收缩以便使压紧件转向呈脱离长形材料体的装置,各第一端与所述长形材料体的外形相适应并为切割丝穿过长形材料体提供空间。
