Graphic 45 Tag Made by Melissa

This pretty, and fun Graphic 45 tag was made by Melissa.

Recently we were partners for a Graphic 45 skinny.

Melissa got a little carried away with the size, but I love it!

Just makes me ready for Summer! The little girl is so cute!

Melissa also sent me some wonderful extras to use in my crafting.

Big thanks Melissa!

The closet for my new stamping chateau was finished this morning.

I've already starting filling it up. Now that didn't take long!

The complete move won't be done till this Sunday. Have to wait

for the kids to be able to come help. Can't wait!

Fashion Ladies, and SNOW

This stamp is made by Hampton Art. The design

is Graphic 45 Fashionista.

Since I had gray cardstock all over my desk from the wedding invites

it made sense to use some of the scraps to make a card.

The silver mesh in the background I've had in my stash since forever.

Happy to be able to use it.

I also used some very fine silver thread on the back of the stamped image.

If you click on the photo to enlarge you may be able to see the thread.

As I said it is very fine.

The black bow was made with a die that my friend Kathleen sent me with

a swap we did. Thanks Kathleen!

and we got an early April fool's day joke. Woke up

to about 2 inches of snow on the ground. It is so pretty!

White, wet, and heavy. sticking to everything. Take a look at the

next door neighbor's fence

Good thing that tomorrow will be in the 50's so all that snow

will just melt away, and that's a good thing!

Go Cleveland Indians! Tomorrow is the home opener!

Penny's Paper Doll Album made by Kathleen

I'm back today to show off this beautiful paper doll album

that my crafty friend Kathleen made me.

Here is a side view of the cover. Love all the scrumptious lace, and flowers.

All the dolls were individually cut out and popped on the background layer.

There are many pages in the book, so I'm not going to post them all.

Isn't the lace dies she used just gorgeous? I think Kathleen is the new die queen.

I know she has more than I do!

Lots of tags and pockets.

There are two pages in the album that unfold to expose more artwork.

Can't help but keep saying that she did an amazing job!

I also love how she added a strip of paper lace in between each page.

So elegant!

More tags, and pockets. Kathleen said she used a lot of paper

to make this book for me, but I was worth it. So happy you think so Kathy!!!!

and other great page.

Back of book has a chipboard pocket.

Well all I can say is I want to be Kathleen when I grow up!

Thanks so much!!!! I know all the hard work that went into the book.

You are the best!!!!!

I'll be back tomorrow to show some more goodies that Kathleen sent me.

I am one lucky girl!

Graphic 45 Penny's Paper Doll Family Book

Kathleen and I did a swap using the Penny's Paper Doll Family

paper made by Graphic 45

I'll be posting the cover and pages of the book I made before

it was put together.

Here is the cover. I used Tim Holtz clear knob on the front.

1st page has a waterfall element.

Here it is after the lace is pulled.

Back of the 1st page. Had to have one featuring just the boys.

Second page. Has a pocket with an altered paper clip, and tag.

Back of second page. Love how the window turned out. I

added the children, but stamped the background. Also colored the sky.

My friend Kym might remember this conservatory window die as she

gifted it to me. (thanks!)

Here is a closer view of the window. I added some fern punches for the greenery.

Third page has a double slider.

Here is how it looks when it is pulled open.

For the flip side of the page I first ran the clothing and dolls

through my Xyron machine then cut them out.

The dolls are attached using Velcro so they can be removed

the pocket holds their clothes.

Photo of the finished bound book. I used canvas paper for the

binding. The bead doll I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Pages for the book, and cover are 6x6. This is a box that

I made to hold the book.

Inside view.

I told Kathleen that she won for best book. Wait till you see the

one she made for me. I'll be posting photos of that on tomorrows blog post.

Playing with Paper and Lost Control

I'm still playing with Penny's paper doll paper.

Normally I don't make square cards, but this one

had a mind of its own.

Once I started layering all the different papers I

lost all control of the size!

The doll, postage stamps, hats, and flowers were

fussy cut then popped over the layers.

I added some pearls, and glitter to the images.

Today I'll be cleaning up the stamping studio. You should

see the amount of scrap paper pieces on the floor, well maybe

its a good thing you can't. I'm sure you would think I'm a slob!

After the cleaning I need to go over the info again that I'll need

to know to work at the voting place again. Don't forget to vote on November 7th.

And....don't forget to set your clocks back tonight. Everyone gets an extra hour.

So what will you do with your extra hour?

A True Friend is the Best Possession Card

You know how I love my dolls. Well

I also love Graphic 45 paper!

This card was made using a new paper pack called

Penny's Paper Doll Family Collection.

Of course I had to have all the paper so hubby got it for me as

a birthday gift.

12x12 paper pack.

The collection I got also included 8x8 paper pack, die cuts,

stickers, and ephemera cards.

It was ordered from FotoBella, so it also

all came in this wonderful plastic case.

Great for keeping it all safe in one place.

I'll show more of this great paper next week. I need

to wait till my crafty friend Kathleen receives her swap before

I can post it here.
