Objetivo del curso: (a) presentar claramente cómo se originan los problemas lógicos,
metafísicos y epistemológicos tradicionales en la reflexión filosófica
acerca del lenguaje.
(b) Identificar y reconstruir los problemas, soluciones, y argumentos en
juego, así como criticar tales soluciones y argumentos.

a) El lugar de la filosofía del lenguaje dentro de una concepción tradicional de la filosofía
b) La triple distinción para pensar filosóficamente el lenguaje: sintaxis, semántica, pragmática
ba) Relación de la triple distinción con el problema filosófico acerca de la prioridad entre
lenguaje y pensamiento. ¿Qué surge primero, lenguaje o pensamiento?
bb) Relación entre significado lingüístico y contenido mental: representación mental.
c) La relación entre la lingüística y la filosofía del lenguaje
d) Los problemas metafísicos y ontológicos tradicionales a la luz de la filosofía del lenguaje (la
realidad del significado, realismo: universales-propiedades, individuación, etcétera.)
