Barely noticeable but there is a white 412 in the top right corner. I suspect this must be somewhere around 1985 or 1986.

I stumbled upon this photo via https://italiaautosport.com/history/
1983 - Ferrari
Testarossa.
John was lucky enough
to be one of the first people to lay eyes on the Ferrari Testarossa, by
accidentally coming across the development prototype at the Ferrari factory
headquarters in Maranello.
These two photo's got sold last night on Ebay for respectively 52 GBP and 37 GBP.
At the Ferrari factory in Maranello in the early 1980s on the assembly line dedicated to the 12-cylinder engine: Rare photo of a white Ferrari 400i intended for the Middle East market, with specification extended bonnet vent, rear air conditioning... 23 only were produced between 1982 and 1984.

Apparently photographed in 1982. The bottom one is at least a Ferrari 400i phase 2
This one was unknown to me.
The first photo was published in this book:
https://erwin400.blogspot.com/2014/03/book-ferrari-4-seaters-v12-pininfarina.html
Apparently these are all from the same series, here another one that previously sold on Ebay and published in the same book:

A very nice photo and it got sold for € 66,- Unfortunately I got outbid again.
I have seen those photo before as it was published in the book "Ferrari 4-seaters" by David Owen. A very good book indeed.
From the same book I posted earlier. A great Ferrari factory shot with all models from that era, I suspect this is a photo taken in 1978 or 1979.
Bertone 308GT4, Pininfarina 400/512BB and Scaglietti 308/328

Maybe not the greatest from a 400 perspective but there is a white one on the right. So just for the records.

Via this Instagram account a few photo's from a factory tour were shared. This photo contained a dark blu Ferrari 412 which is easy to spot in all those red cars.
Earlier this week someone posted a photo a vintage photo on Facebook in a specific car group I follow. I noticed this watermark and as such I looked it up. Turned out the watermark was pointing towards www.revsinstute.org I wasn't aware of this one. Apparently it's an automotive museum with a huge online photo library. And you can guess it, I used the search option and typed Ferrari 400. And presto, this unique photo popped up:
The item description mentions the year 1977 and Ferrari Factory. The photographer is John Thomas. I made an attempt to do a little more Google research regarding him but apparently it's a very common name and quite a few in the photo business as well. Typical.
In any case, I noticed he made quite a few photo's about specific race events. But then I noticed he had made a complete series of the Ferrari Factory visit in 1977. And that revealed so many more unique photo's and quite a few did had 400's on it as well but clearly did not use that label in the description. How cool is that! So pleased with this great addition of unique material. Although I made the selection with 400 material only it's definitely worthwhile to check out the complete series.
So here goes, click to enlarge, enjoy:
On this photo you can see 2x 400 in the background
On this photo you can see 2x 400 in the top right corner on the bridge
And the last one in this series. How cool is that? You can see on the same production line the Fiat 124 spider being put together. Click to enlarge:
