Level.io Integration

Connecting Level.io to ilert turns Level.io alerts into actionable ilert alerts, routes them to on-call responders, and auto-resolves when the original alert clears – reducing manual toil, speeding triage, and lowering MTTR.

In ilert: Create a Level.io alert source

1. Go to Alert sources -> Alert sources and click Create new alert source.

   
2. Search for Level.io in the search field, click the Level.io tile, and then Next.

   
3. Give your alert source a name, optionally assign teams, and click Next.

4. Select an escalation policy by creating a new one or assigning an existing one.

   
5. Select your Alert grouping preference and click Continue setup. You may click Do not group alerts for now and change it later.

   
6. The next page shows additional settings, such as customer alert templates or notification priority. Click Finish setup for now.

7. On the final page, an API key and/or webhook URL will be generated. You will need it later.

In Level.io: Create a Webhook

1. In the Level.io sidebar, click Webhooks.

1. Click Create Webhook.

1. Paste the ilert Integration URL into the URL field.

2. Under Events to send, select Alert active and Alert resolve so ilert can open and auto-resolve incidents.

3. Click Add webhook to finish.

FAQ

Will alerts in ilert be resolved automatically?

Yes, as soon as Level.io sends a notification with event_type as "alert_resolved", corresponding alerts in ilert will be resolved automatically.
