The crow dives in and the story spills and their swords clash, and the butterfly's one eye lands on the group of people standing to the side, spectating.
This faraway planet that is gray and rain and sorrow has reunited him with far too many pieces he considers cinders, and it cannot be helped that Takasugi Shinsuke emerges from the monster.
Takasugi reevaluates his character arc. Oboro is picked up from his self-imposed despair. The battle of Rakuyou ends differently.

out of all fics this is the one that stuck w me the most, idk why, but reading it was a rollercoaster of emotions. maybe i just really like volo's character, who knows. the way he and cynthia are portrayed particularly shines amidst the cynthia & volo tag, it's easy to put yourself in their shoes without flanderising their personalities. man i love this fic.
