"Is this yours?" questions the older boy, his dark green eyes fixed on Ash, a mix of amusement and disapproval evident as he holds up a squirming Pikachu.
"Pika!" Pikachu calls out, ketchup stains adorning its mouth, paws, and even the tip of its tail.
Retrieving a handkerchief from his pocket, Ash lets out a resigned sigh. "Yeah," he says. "He's mine."
