“I mean, now? Yes. Before? Not really, had a great friend, always stuck up for me you know? Even if it was in the weirdest ways..” he says trailing off, thinking of the time Ned said he was watching porn while helping Peter with the vulture.
“What happened to them..?” MJ asks quietly, a bit more uncertainly than before.
“Uhh, well I did a stupid mistake, and he- he got amnesia, so he like forgot about me, I guess I could’ve always tried to be friends with him again, but I felt bad and thought it might be better if I stayed away”
“I don’t think that’s your choice, sure he might not remember you now, but what if he does? You’ll be betraying his trust by staying away, leaving him like that” she said, her eyes a bit glossy as though what he said sounded familiar to her.
“He won’t remember, but he’s better off like this, without knowing me I mean, I don’t do the safest stuff and don’t wanna put him in danger again like last time.” He said determinedly, though his expression was downcast.
“Yeah? So talking to me right now isn’t dangerous?” Michelle challenges,
“If I had a choice in talking to you, I would’ve ran away already”

"You have to stay, we can't send you out there without knowing we have a pain medication that works on you. We can't call you in and have you at risk without a chance of medical aid, that is irresponsible."
"Fat fucking chance, Tony." Peter spit out. "Check out my eyeballs and send me on my merry way."
"You know what, if you are going to say my name so venomously" Stark ground out, "then I like it better when I was Stark."
"I liked you better when you were just Ironman." Guilt slammed Peter, was that really how they were now, was that truly what Peter wished, that they never knew each other? He reminding himself that he felt cornered and if Stark wanted to be an ass then Peter could be too. Maybe, it had been too far. Stark still had not said anything,
"What the hell happened to you, Parker?"

There’s a bunch of photos with the camera flipped, candids of a coworker not realising there’s a phone pointed at him. The guy has fluffy brown hair and rectangular glasses. There’s only one picture with a clear quality shot of his features and it’s a side profile, so Wade knows he has a slightly crooked nose and a thin scar from jawline to cheek on one side of his face, but that’s it.
Still. There’s something about this guy that feels… familiar? That shouldn’t be right, because Wade doesn’t make a lot of acquaintances that have nothing to do with the masked weirdo lifestyle and this guy is just a barista at a coffee shop, but there’s definitely some deja vu-like feelings happening.
