In this alternate timeline of What a Woman, the Avengers manage to save both Pietro and Anya in the Battle of Sokovia. However, with Anya surviving, many things change from the original timeline. The most significant change is the profound impact on Kate Bishop, who sees Anya as a constant threat to her relationship with Yelena, finding her presence unbearable.
Jealousy and insecurity can drastically alter a person's mindset, and when these feelings are combined with an unhealthy obsession, it creates a terrible combination. Who would think that gentle and innocent Kate could possess a dark and manipulative side? Unfortunately, Yelena falls for both facets—the toxic and dark, as well as the sweet and kind side that everyone else sees.
Living with someone like that isn’t what anyone dreams of, but Yelena loves Kate nonetheless. When they finally meet, they don't get along at all. In fact, it's quite the opposite. They can't stand each other and can't be in the same place for more than five minutes without starting a fight over anything.
