Jacks was never a fan of fate. Yet it seemed hellbent on damning him to the arena to fight for the sadistic pleasure of the Capitol. Driven by pure spite, he's left to nurse a rose-golden haired District One tribute back to health and nearly die to her male tribute partner along the way. Evangeline never wanted this.
Julian never went out of his way for anything. Only for his own needs. But watching his brother threaten to volunteer for his best friend wasn't settling in his chest. He could put on a better show. Flash the Capitol.
Scarlett wasn't letting her sister die in the arena. The last thing she wanted was to watch that on the screen. Tella was always better with emotions, anyway. She never watched the Games.
