“It’s unfortunate that Bruno’s insidious ways have infected this family, even now. But, Mirabel, we know that you can prove to us that it hasn’t reached you. That you can prove to us that you are in this family.” She lifts her hand to caress Mirabel’s cheek and roots her to the ground as irritation rumbles within her.
What has she been doing all this time? Besides trying to prove time and time again that she is in this family? That she cares about them?
Her chest burns from frustration. Her whole body feels ignite with rage and she’s almost surprised that Abuela can’t literally feel the heat from her palm on her cheek. She hears Bruno’s words echo around in her head again, I love our family, but it’s a lot to be in it, and feels their weight even stronger now, but she takes a deep breath.
She knows she would never do anything to hurt this family. If this is the proof they need, that she stop the prophecy from coming true, then she’ll give it to them.
“I will, Abuela.” She declares. “I’ll show you. I’ll show everyone.” Her eyes stare directly into Abuela’s, a challenge issued.

Pues bien. Estoy escribiendo este bodrio repugnante, morboso y telenovelesco porque pretendo someter a los personajes a distintas y horribles situaciones para ver cómo salen de ellas. Esta es una situación caprichosa como si la magia los pusiera a jugar el "¿Qué prefieres?" , ya saben, ese juego donde a huevo hay que elegir, sí o sí entre situaciones horrendas. "¿Qué prefieres? ¿Comerte a tu perro o casarte con Santa Claus?"
De este lado del multiverso, la única que aparece enamorada en un inicio es Mirabel. El otro o no lo está o no quiere darse cuenta, ya se verá. Quiero saber si es más horrible un Bruno que enfrenta su amor o uno que le rehuye. Estoy escribiendo principalmente para purgar algunos traumas recientes. Así que mis historias llevan violencia de varios tipos. Por eso, además de por el ship mismo, no es para nada recomendable que esto lo lean personas menores de edad. No está de más repetirlo.

***Esto es una especie de homenaje que hago al cuento "La jaula de tía Enedina" de la genial Adela Fernández. Aprovecho la temática dentro del Brumira por el parecido fundamental entre ambas historias. Es decir: esa historia del tío chiflado encerrado entre las paredes como resultado de un grave problema + si el Brumira fuera canon = La jaula de tía Enedina. Jajajaja. Por eso decidí hacer mi propia versión brumírica del asunto. En este cuento, el milagro nunca se restauró y el pueblo de Encanto va en picada. Al final voy a pegar el mismísimo cuento "La jaula de tía Enedina" por si no lo han leído y quieren conocerlo. Obviamente doy el crédito a los autores tanto del cuento como de cada una de las imágenes que utilicé.***
