He really can’t, not when he’s throwing himself into however many cases the FBI lets him take.

This week's episode is based on a Sci Fi trope Bingo: Time loop. No OB/GYN in the universe can tell Agent Malcolm Bright what to expect when expecting. Imagine going from a watermelon belly to a poppy seed. Due to space-time nonsense, Malcolm deals with baby blues over a thirty five week fetus in his first trimester. Followed by a second trimester with a barely there embryo that is not biologically developed past four weeks of gestation.
