ABSTRACTION

SYSTEMS OF PLANTING
A. Square system
The trees are planted in square system in four corners of a
square, keeping the same distance between rows and
from plant to plant in the same line. This is the simplest
and easiest plantation system.
B. Rectangular system
The trees are planted in the same way in a rectangular
system as in a square system except that the distance
between rows is more than the distance between plants in
the same row. Four adjacent trees make a rectangular
design within this system.

These are usually made of a special kind of metal.

ABSTRACTION

Farm Implements are accessories which are being pulled


by working animals or mounted to machineries (hand tractor,
tractor) which are usually used in the preparation of land.
These are usually made of a special kind of metal.
Plows. These are farm implements either pulled by a working animal or a
tractor. The plow is specifically used for tilling large areas, making furrows
and inter row cultivation. Plows pulled by working animals are made of
either a combination of metal and wood or pure metal. They are used to till
areas with a shallower depth than that of the disc plows which are pulled by
tractors.

DISC PLOW NATIVE PLOW


Harrow. The native wooden harrow is made of wood with a metal teeth
and pulled by a carabao while the disc harrow is made of metal mounted to a
tractor. Harrows are used for tilling and pulverizing the soil.

Rotavator. The rotavator is an implement mounted to a tractor used
for tilling and pulverizing the soil.

After a field has been plowed, Mario wants to break up the soil, digging up
weeds and shallow rooted grass. This allows for the stimulation of growth
with the teeth of this farm implement for digging up clumps of soil and
