III. PROCEDURE
A. Activity
Pre-Activity (Paper-Relay)
Let the class form a circle, let them pass the bowl with a strip of papers inside on
their classmate next to them while the music is playing. Once the music stops, the
person holding the bowl will pick a paper and use the given phrase in a sentence.
B. Analysis
Ask the learners with the following questions:
How did you find the activity?
When do you think the phrases written on the paper strips used for?
What do you think are those words? Are they important?
C. Abstraction
Expressions or signals to introduce opinions
*Every person is entitled to his own opinion.As we all know,opinions are
subjective,which means that a man’s point of view is his alone.Opinion is important
because it allows us to consider different ideas coming from various sources,therefore
giving us the opportunity to question and analyze.It also requires us to gather facts in
order to support our side.The opinion marking signals will help us indicate our views
about certain topics.
