Cut a long tail and begin sewing the base of the shell closed, stuffing as you do, this will help
keep it flat. Once you have stuffed the shell enough, fully close the hole and fasten off, weaving
in your ends.

Petals.

In yellow.

Attach yarn using a slip stitch in the remaining loops of the BLO round.

To create the petals, DC, TR, DC all in the same stitch. SC to the next stitch and repeat all the
way round until the end.

Assembly.

Pin the fins to the base of the shell, so the flat side of the fin is facing the center of the turtle,
and the curved side is facing outwards, leaving enough space for the head.

Pin the head in place, making sure everything looks even. Cut a long piece of turquoise yarn
and sew the head onto the body.
