    Hihi the Bear

    Please do not translate and sell my patterns or share them for
    free!!! 15% Profit from the patterns will be donated to the
    cancer fund! My mom passed away in 2020 and I became a
    crochet - holic to make myself busy and not drown into
    depression (Hug to everyone in the same situation >:d<).

    So I hope you respect my wish and those who will receive the
    donation. You can sell your finished products but not mass
    produced. I appreciate if you credit the pattern to me <3

    Abbreviations
    Mr - magic ring or make ch 2 and sc into the first ch.
    Sc - single crochet
    Inc - increase
    Dec - decrease (invisible dec)
    (…)*n - repeat stitches in brackets n times
    Slst - slip stitch
    Ch - chain
    Hdc - half double crochet
    Dc - double crochet
    Trc - treble crochet
    BLO - back loop only
    FLO - front loop only
    Color - change the color
    Green for the bear - 80354
    Green for the cannabis leaf - 80331
    Feel free to pick your favourite green/color to crochet the bear!

    Materials
    Crochet hook 4mm & Yarn - Himalaya Dolphin Baby
    (less than one skein for each color is needed in this project)
    Other brand are Yarn art, Premier Parfait (most similar available in
    the US), etc depending on where you’re located.. ^o^
    Stitch marker, scissors, fiber fill, safety eyes or felt, tapestry needle

    *Use bigger yarn & hook to make him bigger or smaller yarn &
    hook to make him smaller ^~^*

    My tip for you is to read the whole pattern one time before
    you start to crochet. Don’t forget to stuff the head and body
    chubby, until you feel like you can’t stuff it anymore, stuff and
    shape the form at the same time. Stretch your body, drink
    something while crocheting. We deserve something delicious
    to drink or at least water, it will keep our bodies healthy and
    balanced <3 <3 <3 If you have any questions regarding the

    Fasten off and leave a long tail for
    sewing, don’t forget to stuff a bit
    more on the 2 cheeks.
    Insert the plastic safety eyes 12mm between r.10-11, 6 stitches
    apart. Use pink thread of yarn or any color that match with the
    bong and sew beside the eyes to make blush cheeks :’)

    The sleepy high eyes
    Use your tapestry needle and a yarn thread, sewing back and
    forth a few times until you get an eye bag.
    I sewed 4-5 times. Please take a look at the pictures below ~

    Body - green
    We will start from the legs ~
    1. Mr 5sc (5)
    2. 5inc (10)
    3-4. 10sc (10)

    Fasten off and cut the yarn, we just made the first leg.
    Let’s crochet the second leg to r.4 but don’t cut off the yarn.
    Continue making ch 3 and join the first leg. Here is the video how I
    join 2 legs together, if you aren’t sure how to do it.

    5. 10sc (first leg) + 3sc (first side of the chains) + 10sc (second leg)

    We’re now done with the 2 biggest pieces, don’t forget to drink
    something and stretch your body!

    Fasten off and leave a long tail sewing
    between r.15-16.

    Nose - white

    Stuff the nose with some fiber fill,
    use plastic safety nose, or embroidery.
    I cut some felt in heart shape because
    it’s so cute! Fasten off and leave a long
    tail sewing between r.10-13.

    Ear x2 - green

    2. White 2inc, green 5inc (14)
    3-4. White 4sc, green 10sc (14)
    I don’t stuff the ears.

    between r.4-7.

    Round belly - white (in case you want to make the body in all
    green and make the belly in separate and sew on later. I prefer
    changing color on the body so it won’t be too thick layer, the
    belly with the leaf add on, like the bear with purple bong)

    Fasten off and leave a long tail sewing on the body.

    Bong - yellow (or any color you like)

    Stuff the bong with some fiber fill.
    Fasten off and hide the rest of yarn. Let’s make the tiny stem:

    Fasten off and leave a long tail, sew on the bong between r.5-6.

    To make the smoke you can glue a little fiber fill on top of the
    bong ~ You can also use hair spray and spray on the fiber fill to
    “harden" it.

    Cannabis leaf - green
    1. Mr 8sc (8)
    2. First stitch: (slst, ch 3, second ch from hook, slst, sc),
    second stich: (slst, ch 4, second ch from hook, slst, sc, hdc),
    third stitch: (slst, ch 5, second ch from hook, slst, sc, hdc, dc),
    fourth stitch: (slst, ch 6, second ch from hook, slst, sc, hdc, 2dc),
    fifth stitch: (slst, ch 5, second ch from hook, slst, sc, hdc, dc),
    sixth stitch: (slst, ch 4, second ch from hook, slst, sc, hdc),
    seventh stitch: (slst, ch 3, second ch from hook, slst, sc),
    last stitch: (slst, ch 4, second ch from hook, 3 slst).
    Fasten off, leave a long tail of yarn if you want to sew it on the
    belly. Or you can use glue, then you don’t have to leave the long
    tail of yarn ^-^
    If you haven’t crochet with chains before. For example on the first
    stitch of r.2, you will slst, and make ch 3, count the second ch from
    hook you will see you have ch 2 to crochet into, the first ch will be
    a slip stitch, the next ch is a single crochet.
