Non-violent resistance:  Dalai lama strictly opposes violence and has spoken
out against violence. He has always made sure to promote harmony and
peace wherever he lives and also makes sure he speaks-out globally.

Interactions with his followers: Dalai lama is known to be friendly and easily
approachable. He always makes sure to meet with his followers, individual or
groups and take time to practice encouragement and provide them with words
of affirmation.

The Situation

Assume both A and B are senior managers of two different companies. Both the companies
have decided to add extra deliverables to the roles of all employees by increasing process
adhesion principles, introducing stricter timelines and adding extra travel to meet clients, all
of which will impact their daily duties significantly and increase their work pressure

Dear Team,

I hope everyone is doing great. As you are aware, our company has
decided to bring in a few other deliverables along with our daily work.
We are well aware that this might result in the increase of workload
and might cause some inconvenience. Rest assured, these changes
are very much indispensable to help meet our goals and objectives. 
We hope that together, we will be able to improve day-by-day to
increase our productivity and make sure the regular targets are being
met. We assure you that these transitions are announced all of a
sudden which has resulted in some stricter timelines and increased
commute but we assure that this transition will be as smooth as ever.

We understand that this change can be difficult but this is where we


should stay put together and confident and work as a team to bring
this organisation to a success. We believe there won’t be any changes
with regards to your dedication and hard work that you have put in all
these days for the success of our future as well as our organisation’s
future. We should make sure that we stick together and support each
other during this transition.

Hi Team,

I hope you all are doing well. Today, I’m here to give you an update regarding
the latest changes that has been made to our regular routine. We will be
adding few additional duties to perform and I believe that you will adhere
strictly to our processes. 

As you all know, we deliver what we promise to our clients and as an


organisation we are committed in delivering exceptional results.There will be
scenarios’s where you might have to work and meet stricter timelines and you
might also have to travel frequently to meet up with the clients.

I know that this can be challenging. But I’m confident that you all have the
capacity and are equally skilled professionals who have been working really
hard and we all know that since you are experienced in the same field you are
hired in. We have no doubt that you will perform splendidly.

I want to encourage you to do your best and please reach out to your peers or
superiors if you need any support.
