Direction: Explain the meaning of the following statements and cite specific
examples based from your own experience.
1. Assume the responsibility to maintain and sustain his professional growth and
advancement and maintain professionalism in his behavior at all times.
2. Refrain from making deductions in students’ scholastic rating for acts that are
clearly not manifestations of poor scholarship.
Direction: Explain this statement: The teacher has the right to be free from
compulsory assignments not related to their duties as defined in the appointment
or employment contract, unless compensated therefor, conformably to existing
law. Cite specific activities or tasks assigned to teachers (by their superiors) that
are not related to their duties and are not compensated.
The teacher has the right to be exempt from any required tasks that
are not related to the obligations outlined in their job contract or
appointment, unless they are compensated in accordance with the law. For
examples, seminar that teacher is asked to attend instead of the superior
just to have a representative, have a drink with teacher and superior,
purchase of school supplies that should be handled by a superior.

Direction: Parents shall cooperate with the school in the implementation
of the school program curricular and co-curricular. Get a sample
program of activities of the Parent – Teacher Association (PTA).
