Once you have identified the needs of the people in your community
You can choose the product you want to produce. You can now plan your budget,
materials and the tools needed, and the schedule of operation.
If you do not have skill to produce a product, you can either buy the product
from its primary source where it is cheaper or buy the product in bulk or in wholesale,
then repack it in smaller quantities for retailing. Simple product like roasted peanuts, pumpkin seeds,
and corn chips. Pastries
like varieties of cookies, cakes, cupcakes are also possible. Popular products such as
polvoron, candies like pastillas, yema, and varieties of hard candies are also on
popular demand.
Meanwhile accessories like bracelets, necklaces, headbands are popular among
students in schools. School items like writing tools, pencil cases, writing pads, and
erasers are desirable for student consumers.
One popular ideal in marketing today is that “If you do not have a market,
create one”, this means create a demand for your product through good salesmanship
and good quality product at a reasonable price.
