CHILD PROTECTION AND ANTI-BULLYING POLICY

B. Prohibited of Bullying Acts or Peer Abuse

 Inside the school and its premises


 During school-sponsored or school related activities, functions or programs
 Through the use of technology or an electronic device or other forms of media that is owned, leased or used
by our school.

C. Prevention and Intervention Program

1. Creation and maintenance of a positive school climate and a clean and orderly environment guided by
hospitable and caring people.
2. Establishing a culture of excellence both on knowledge proficiency and practice of values and upright
behavior.

4. Constant and regular observations and assessment of the student’s behavior and activities.
5. Periodic review/discussion of bullying-related topics stated in the student’s handbook likewise responding
of related incidents.
6. Counseling of “potential bullies” and “probable victims” to enhance their Psychological, Emotional, and
Psycho-social well-being, to help them understand the negative consequence of bullying.
7. Provision of classroom and co-curricular activities in which the students will have the opportunities to
practice pro-social behavior.
8. Conduct of Anti-bullying campaign as part of programs and projects by the Supreme Student Body and
other organized clubs.

D. Disciplinary Procedures

1. The Adviser/Subject teacher must submit a written report of the incident to the Level Head.
2. Upon receipt of the written report on misconduct of any student or group of students, the discipline
committee or its authorized representative shall conduct a preliminary investigation of the charge filed
against the student for prima facie evidence.
3. Formal charges shall be filed against the student, if there is a prima facie evidence of guilt.
4. A notice shall be sent to the students informing him of the charges and shall require the student to answer
the charge and/or appeal for questioning before the discipline committee within 72 hours from receipt of
the notice.
5. Except in meritorious cases as determined by the discipline committee, the failure of the student to answer
the charge and/or appear during the investigation as required shall be constructed as a waiver thereof.
6. If an investigation has been carried out and the discipline committee has found sufficient evidence of if the
accused has admitted his guilt, the discipline committee shall impose the penalties.
7. If the decision is accepted by the student, the same shall be final and executory. If it is not acceptable, the
aggrieved student may file a motion for consideration within 5 days from receipt of the decision to the
discipline committee.
