4.3 Analysis 15 Discuss the meaning of conduction, convection, radiation and heat
minutes Conduction = is the transfer of heat through solid materials.
Convection = is the transfer of heat from one place to another by movement of in fluids.
Radiation = the emission and propagation of energy in the form of rays or waves. The energy
radiated or transmitted in the form of rays waves or particles.
Heat = is a form of energy associated with the motion of particles and capable of being
transmitted through solid and liquid media by conduction, convection, and through empty
space by radiation. As a thermal energy, it is transferred between bodies of different
temperature.
