It is what it says on the tin. Sizzling hot. No male frontal nudity, some female bosom. Episode 2-8 lots of X-tion, episode 9-16 more into the main plot - The (real) Butcher of Reynosa. Episode 17-25 feel like the main plot and a few others are climaxing soon and I think I'll watch some more due to really killer cliffhangers at the end of episode 24 and 25! However, the bad news is they should have continued to build up momentum and tension and finish the season strong at episode 35 tops! Instead the show's taking a detour yet again with the flashbacks for a character I don't care about....
For a telenovela the pacing is quick unlike the other soaps that I'm struggling with (The Marked Heart & Pasion de Gavilanes).
In the first few episodes serious scenes that move the plot that interchange into sex scene can be jarring. But this doesn't happen in later episodes when the main plot get into the main focus.
Overall I find it enjoyable and I can binge a lot of episodes in one sitting. A great weekday watch.

First 9 episodes are way too many greased up abs and pointless 15 second sex montages for my liking, but made a paradigm shift for some explanation at epi 10 and became way more watchable. My first telenovella. It's hokey as hell. Found myself screaming at the screen often, asking how can these characters be so stupid? But I still find it a total blast to watch!

As this Mexican series gets underway Poncho learns of his brother's murder. He was a journalist investigating a story that led to a Mexico City fire station. Poncho decides to find out what happened so heads to the fire station and ends up joining the crew. Meanwhile Ricardo Urzúa arrives and takes over the job of running the station; he has a secret though; he has just ended a twenty five year prison sentence for murder! Shortly after arriving Poncho gets involved with Olivia, the only woman on the team. If that weren't enough we get numerous subplots involving various firefighters and the people who live in the boarding house opposite the station which is run by the widow of the former chief; these are a group of women and the owner's gay son who fancies one of the firemen.
This series is melodrama, pure and simple. The central story of the hunt for the killer of Poncho's brother's killer and the truth behind Ricardo's motives would probably have been enough to sustain the series but every character in the fire station and boarding house seems to have drama in their lives. This isn't a major problem; it means there is always something happening and there are plenty of twists; some more plausible than others. There is a fair amount of sex and nudity but this reduces in later episodes as the plot homes in on the killer. Each episode provides tense moments and frequently end with cliff-hangers. The acting is solid; sometimes it feels like there is some overacting but I thought that suited the melodramatic nature of the series. Overall I found this to be a fun series.
These comments are based on watching the series in Spanish with English subtitles.

The plot have some holes, ones toy start to watch it is really difficult not continue. No all movies or series have to be perfect but this one is really good.
The plot pretty much is related with the police investigation and a lot of twisted crazy stuff.
Now all the sex in the show are really extremely hard.
I'm really in on this show with my wife so I have to watch it with pibe mind .
At least we having pretty good shows in Spanish honestly is worth it to see.
You chose is you want to see something different.
Is not the best show ever but pretty awesome to watch.
The last shows from Netflix left if in a cliff hanger.
Give the shot to this one.

Decent plot that drags on to 39 episodes because of too many distractions and tangential stories. The main story is spoiled by way too many irrelevant scenes of sex. This series should be designated LG. The real story is probably 10%, rest does not make sense. Such a waste.
Loved watching this & I hope they bring it back soon!! Yes some of the scenes bounced around but that was ok... It was very interesting & got your mind going... Everyone has their own opinion so if you don't like it, don't watch it. But as you get further into it you'll want to continue watching it and will most likely binge watch it like most of it :) lol.. It would be great to continue to see what happens with everyone. And No, this is NOT a show like 911 it was never meant to be...Of course their main focus of their show is to get to their fire & get them out... This IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENCE Kind of Movie... Watch it you won't be Disappointed...

When you are 911/911 Lone Star-Fan,you know
they somehow manages to begin and finish more than 1 Stories in 1-2 Episodes and Inbetween alot of Emergencies,Right?
Well this Show however manages to stretch it to 39 !!! EPISODES with just a few Emergencies.🤦
Yes there is alot Sexiness and Hotness but the Plot would easily fit into 9 Episode TOPS.
It is Torture for Fans of 911,thats for sure, dont watch it.
But for Telenovella-Fans maybe abit interesting.
Be aware that you will often find yourself predicting all the Time the Episodes just after watching a few Minutes.
There is nothing unforeseeable happing here at all and worse, they stretching it over alot Episodes.

Donde Hubo Fuego is a all in one thriller. We all were getting sad at watching good shows end in 8-10 episodes. What if you knew there was a show which has 39 BINGE WORTHY EPISODES in a single season which are having all the ingredients you needed?
Storyline, Suspense, Action, Thrill factor, Binge Factor, Romance, Hottest fire Brigade, Drama, Love, Life lessons,
For all the 39 episodes, you're watching.all of these will definitely keep you on fire 🔥
Specially our firemen Ivan Amozurrutia as Poncho Polo Morín as Julián, Antonio Sotillo as Molina Daniel Gama Moreno as Gerardo and the ladies Ana Jimena Villanueva as Ana ,Esmeralda Pimentel as Olivia will definitely keep you on your seats.
Relationship between Poncho his problems, his strengths and Olivia, Julian & Molina and their capabilities to fight his weaknesses and figure out life, Gerardo's strength to win his guy, and the struggle he undergoes, with an excellent writing by award winning writer of who killed Sara fame José Ignacio Valenzuela is now winning hearts worldwide and trending on the top in 60 countries for 3 weeks. More awesomeness to come!
Important note : If you don't know Spanish, change the audio and subtitles to English, the translation is a perfect sync and good as well. A must watch.

Let's start with the script, which lacks substance and development, they tried to handle many stories at the same time, not to mention the "unreal" situations that fall into fantasy, even La Rosa de Guadalupe has better writers. It seems like the typical Mexican novel that seeks to stay on the air and continues to lengthen. On the other hand, the performances, I cannot deny that if the script and the direction were not the best, these will affect the performance of the actors, but it is necessary to emphasize that there was one or another actor who made an effort to sell the story of his character. But the one who played "Poncho" deserves a Razzie, what a lousy and mediocre performance.
I love this show so much. Such awesome performances...murder, mystery, romance, tragedy, I couldn't stop watching episode after episode. I would call out every performer for their great acting, but Ivan as Poncho is my favorite!
Their are storylines of LGBTQ, cancer, and they are handled so awesomely.
There are times I cried, was happy, laughed...how could you not ask for a better series? I never wanted it to end.
The dubbing is done so flawlessly, that you wouldn't even notice that it was dubbed.
My only wish is that their comes a season 2 of High Heat.
Please don't sleep on this series, I guarantee you will love it!

The initial concept of good man sent to jail for a crime he didn't commit, then revenge, was a good one, but it quickly degenerated into a soap opera. The sub-plots had nothing to do with the original premise, the characters were too often hot-blooded idiots who had problems putting two and two together, they couldn't keep their hands to themselves, and there were an unusual amount of "brave" and edgy LGBTQ+ sidelines with a lot of needless lecturing.
I'm up to episode 34 of 39 now (determined now to just to finish this tedious mess off). Typical of soaps, the characters get to the point of saying something important, and then backing down -- endlessly -- to keep the plot stagnant and the truth in the dark. That, the social preaching, plot holes, the unnecessary flashbacks, the gratuitous sex and half-dozen love triangles, and, most of all, the annoying characters, filled with angst and drama, is leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth. It's as if they were paid by the video footage. This could have been so much better if they could have kept to the plot.

This series was amazing. It was like a package of everything: Romance, Action, Drama, Series Killer...I didn't get bored even 1 second. I do appreciate the hard work!
Furthermore, I felt a strong synergy between the actors which made me motivated and attached to this series. The actors really showed up as a one family. As firefighters, they were 1 unified team besides Mrs Glorita and her guests were amazing, always showing empathy and support to each other. My favourite people were: Olivia , Ricardo, Glorita, Hugo... I would like to see the actors one more time again in another movie. We are waiting for you!

This drama looks interesting as it has 39 episodes and a few holes first this is the first Firefighter drama I have watched where no firefighter is wearing BA Oxygen equipment when entering a burning building
Need I go on? Too many holes too many sex scenes a plot that just drags on and on an open fire station where anyone can just walk in.
Too many episodes they could have had more female firefighters seems as they have a lot female characters in this show some people will find it a good watch will not be everyone's taste but lack firefighting and can be frustrating to watch if you stick with it.

The story is good but the police force in this series are just a joke, annoying and frustrating... literally the detective has less brain cells than A random role.

There have been newe series that are representative of the new type of Latino Telenovela, some have been very good, others mind-numbingly bad. This falls into the latter category. The plot seems to have no beggining, but rather starts off in a confused collection of random scenes. This one has the newer components of sex (all varieties), sexual situations, and rear end nudity. It also has some of the older traditions of past Telenovelas, lots of fantasy and illogical situations that would never happen in real life, the usual overuse of flashbacks to draw out the story, constant philosophizing about life, but not the usual crying in every scene. So far, there have been no Priests and church confessions seen. The acting is horrendously bad, the editing terrible, and the hope must be that the sex and hot guys will be distracting enough to prevent viewers realizing that there is no actual story to fill 39 episodes. There are better series/Telenovelas that are representative of this modern genre e.g House of Flowers.
I thought it would be a good series but who ever wrote the story is fully away from reality in some parts, it is very predictable on many episodes, also they wrote many more episodes than should be. Good thing you can forward episodes, also the acting is really bad, the secrecy is out of reality. But if you like this kind of stupidity go ahead and watch it. In my case I forwarded a lot of time to avoid wasting more time. Some other episodes just skipped them, that will tell you how boring is this and also the characters don't really have brains, so many sings and direct clues and they act like they did not noticed. Wanted to mention some parts but that would be spolier so will let them for you.
