Zendaya is looking forward to seeing her Euphoria character out of high school in season three.
The Emmy-winning actress, who plays Rue, recently teased the long-gestating third installment of the Sam Levinson-created HBO drama, which will feature a time jump to life after high school.
“It’s important because there’s only so much high school drama you can deal with,” she said to Entertainment Weekly‘s The Awards podcast, before quipping, “‘And then she cheats on her boyfriend again!'”
While Zendaya, who is also an executive producer on the show, couldn’t share many details about the season three storylines, she teased that it will be “fascinating.”
“I don’t actually know much about what is happening,” she said. I don’t quite know exactly what the season is going to look like, but I do know that the time jump is happening.”

For all that comedian Ali Wong talks about sex onstage, her first three specials came from a place of inherent sexual constraint: a long-term, monogamous marriage. In “Single Lady,” her fourth, self-directed hour, all guardrails are off. Two years ago, Wong got divorced from her husband of nearly a decade. What followed was a carnal rumspringa Wong now narrates in the same gleefully graphic detail she once applied to the birth of her first child. “I really went on a tear,” the 42-year-old says, and has the anecdotes to show for it.

While the appearance was widely mocked online for Musk’s enthusiasm — he literally jumped around the stage — the content of his speech was focused on the First and Second Amendments.
“The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech,” Musk said. “You must have free speech in order to have democracy. That’s why it’s the First Amendment … The Second Amendment is there to ensure that we have the First Amendment.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the October 7 episode of Jeopardy!] It’s not uncommon for Jeopardy! fans to find reasons to debate a call or the way a clue is worded, and in the latest episode, which aired on Monday (October 7) night, both happened. Fitzpatrick led at every break, eventually going into Final Jeopardy! with a runaway game. During the game, there were multiple instances in which host Ken Jennings asked for a contestant to be “more specific” with an answer—before one time that fans expected him to say the same to Fitzpatrick and he didn’t. When it comes to Outer Banks, there are some things you can always count on: high-speed chases, swoon-worthy romance, and epic action.
Thanks to some truly jaw-dropping surprises and the team’s biggest treasure hunt yet, Season 3 takes all of that to the next level. And by next level, we’re talking Barbados, South America, and even (gasp) a party full of Kooks.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. If you need a quick reminder on where things left off at the end of Season 2, our perpetual treasure-hunting friends the Pogues, led by John B (Chase Stokes), were set adrift in the ocean on a small boat after failing to steal the Cross of Santo Domingo back from evil Rafe (Drew Starkey) and Ward (Charles Esten). Meanwhile, in Barbados, Carla Limbrey (Elizabeth Mitchell) met with John B’s not-actually-dead dad, Big John (Charles Halford), and promised to help...

Madrid’s 4th Iberseries & Platino Industria’s conferences were packed, foot traffic at Madrid’s Matadero, a former slaughterhouse, was heavy. Delegates came as the industry has been facing a well documented perfect storm of rising costs and an invested pull back from streamers and broadcasters, hit respectively by cost-contention and plunging ad sales.
Yet the mood at Iberseries, which wrapped Friday, was “hopeful,” said Fremantle’s Manuel Martí. Takeaways from this year’s edition, which ran Oct. 1-4:

“The big slow-down hasn’t yet got to Spain,” Banijay Iberia CEO Pilar Blasco commented on an Iberseries & Platino panel.

Everybody plays everybody in It’s What’s Inside. In writer-director Greg Jardin’s new comedy/mystery/thriller/science-fiction spectacular, nothing — and no one — is as it seems. What starts as an innocent pre-wedding get-together quickly becomes something a little … freaky.
“A bunch of friends get together in a house,” Jardin tells Tudum. “One of them brings a body-swapping machine. He suggests they play a game with it where they can all simultaneously swap bodies. And then the night devolves into existential chaos.”
That’s the short story. For the longer version, you’ll have to watch It’s What’s Insideon Netflix. Below, you can learn all about the actors inhabiting the bodies of this body-hopping good time.

Two families in the Duck Dynasty universe have shared their harrowing first-hand experiences with the destruction of Hurricane Helene. Al and Lisa Robertson recalled getting trapped in the Black Mountain area of North Carolina, near the walloped Asheville, N.C. on Monday’s episode of the Unashamed podcast hosted by family patriarch Phil Robertson. Al and his wife “got caught flat-footed” by the storm, he said, which saw two days of nonstop downpours with more than 20 inches of rainfall. “It hit us at about 5:30 in the morning and I admit, we’ve rode out a couple [of] storms here and down in the Gulf shores, but this one had some bite to it,” he recalled. Trees began falling one by one in his area, making him unable to sleep: “Not close by, but these things are 200 feet tall. When they hit the ground, you hear it for a long way.

Anthony Boyle knew his latest TV project had a high bar to clear. The actor, a Broadway vet who recently portrayed John Wilkes Booth in “Manhunt,” took on the role of Brendan Hughes in FX’s upcoming “Say Nothing,” based on the beloved nonfiction bestseller of the same name by Patrick Radden Keefe about The Troubles in Ireland and the Ira.
“I was so nervous to show my mom and dad, because this is their life,” Boyle said onstage during a recent panel discussion in NYC. “You know, for me, it’s a story, and I’ve lived in the hangover of this conflict. But for them, it was there every day. It was like just their existence. So when I showed them it, like two weeks ago in Belfast, I was really nervous, and I was looking at them sitting behind them, kind of seeing if they were liking it.

Sebastian Stan Worried He Would Be ‘Immediately Judged’ for ‘Gossip Girl’ During ‘I, Tonya’ Audition
Sebastian Stan didn’t want his “Gossip Girl” stint to make him to mainstream for the indie film world.
The actor told GQ UK that 12 years after first landing the part of Carter Baizen in the iconic original “Gossip Girl” series, he was fearful of being labeled as the “CW guy” when trying out for Neon’s 2017 Oscar winner “I, Tonya.” Stan was ultimately cast as Tonya Harding’s ex-husband Jeff Gillooly alongside Margot Robbie as the titular Olympian.
“I’m like, ‘I’m going to walk into that room and they’re going to see the taller guy, The CW guy.’ I felt like I was going to be immediately judged,” Stan admitted of the audition process for “I, Tonya.”
And even after landing the role, he was anxious about doing the tale justice.

Zendaya is ready to graduate to “Euphoria” Season 3.
The Emmy-winning actress and series producer said during Entertainment Weekly‘s “The Awards” podcast that the time jump for the upcoming season is “important” to the arc of the show. The “Challengers” star added that it will offer a “fascinating” storyline for her character Rue. The series will finally return to production in January 2025, and Zendaya said that she is “interested to see what happens.”
“It will be fascinating to see and understand these characters outside of the context of high school and how all the stuff that we saw when they were kids and they were in high school affects the adulthood they have and who they become in a much bigger world,” Zendaya said. “I’ll be interested to see what happens too.”
She added of the time jump, “It’s important because there’s only so much high school drama you can deal with.

Seal Team said goodbye to a few characters over its seven-season run, which ended on Paramount+ with the October 6 series finale, but the one that still hurts the most is Clay Spenser, with Max Thieriot moving over to Fire Country. His death — as he was trying to help a vet at Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) and Naima’s (Parisa Fakhri) center — reverberated with the rest of Bravo throughout the rest of the sixth season as well as all of the seventh. But we could have still seen him again, in a flashback or some other way. Executive producer Spencer Hudnut, however, tells TV Insider he didn’t even try to get Thieriot back for the final episodes. “Truthfully, it was so difficult just keeping Max to finish his work Season 6 that I was not going to even try to open that can of worms,” he explains. However, he notes, “Clay exists.

The Price Is Right fans are making a fuss over a game show contestant for the opposite reason than is the norm these days: doing something right. In a new clip on the show’s official Instagram, Zachariah took on the Punch-a-Bunch game. The segment entails a player earning punches on a fifty-hole punch board. Dollar amounts in the punched holes are revealed, with the player having the option of taking the dollar amount or giving it back to accept the dollar amount in the next punched hole. Zachariah swung his way through his allotted three punch holes, and host Drew Carey snatched the first prize card out. “The first punch is for…” Carey glanced down at the prize card and over to Zachariah with a knowing look. “I don’t like to use this word a lot but I really mean it this time: Bro.” View this post on...

Our Flag Means Death Season 2 arrived a year ago on Max, and since then, fans have had to come to terms with the idea that the pirate rom-com may never return to screens after its unceremonious cancelation in January. Still, that doesn’t mean fans have given up hope that the show may one day return. Whether that hope will manifest into something concrete, creator David Jenkins isn’t closing the door to the possibility. On October 5, a fan on social media wondered whether Jenkins was celebrating the one-year anniversary of Season 2’s release, while another wished for a third season. There’s a sizable time jump between S2 and a theoretical S3. Until it’s ridiculous or totally impossible, I will never rule out a return to this show. If ever a network’s buying I’m in. — David Jenkins (@david_jenkins__) October 5, 2024 Jenkins took it upon himself to comment,...

This week, the vice president will be making a bit of a media blitz as she hopes to state her case to voters for the 2024 presidential election… and she’s made some rather interesting choices for interview stops. Kamala Harris‘ TV takeover begins Monday night with the broadcast of her interview with 60 Minutes at 8/7c on CBS. Harris was interviewed by Bill Whitaker, who also interviewed her running mate Tim Walz for the special. (Donald Trump decided against going on the same show per its tradition of interviewing both candidates.) Tonight, on a 60 Minutes election special, Vice President Kamala Harris shares her plan to strengthen the economy by investing in small businesses and the middle class. The Irrational may have a big cliffhanger to address when Season 2 premieres (October 8 on NBC)—who kidnapped Rose (Karen David)?!—but it’s also going to be, at least in part, business as usual for professor of behavioral science Alec Mercer (Jesse L. Martin). TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of the drama’s return—with insight from Martin himself as he breaks down the scene. “This scene hearkens back to me and my ex-wife, Marissa, played by Maahra [Hill]. We’re working very tightly together in sort of a little sting operation,” Martin shares as a clip of the scene plays. “One of my favorite things about when Alec gets into these spaces is he gets to be an actor in the room. And that sounds funny coming from an actor, but he gets to be an actor as well. So it was a lot of fun playing that scene,...
