First 9 episodes are way too many greased up abs and pointless 15 second sex montages for my liking, but made a paradigm shift for some explanation at epi 10 and became way more watchable. My first telenovella. It's hokey as hell. Found myself screaming at the screen often, asking how can these characters be so stupid? But I still find it a total blast to watch!

Been a fan of Brendan Gleeson forever and really impressed by the few things I've seen Domhnall in, like ex Machina. Never knew there was another Gleeson brother till I stumbled upon this gem of a series. This show ticks all my comedy boxes. Lead character is an idiot with a sidekick that's even more of an idiot. Pretty much everybody in the show is an alcoholic. Plot lines are too ridiculous to be predictable. Watched the 1st three episodes in one shot and doubt I'll get much spring cleaning done today cause I'll be binging the rest of the series.
