Modern Talking was a German duo consisting of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. They have been referred to as Germany's most successful pop duo and have had a number of hit singles.

In many of the band's earlier music videos, Dieter Bohlen has become infamous for obviously bumping his right fist on the guitar strings instead of actually playing it. Because of that, TV total (1999) host Stefan Raab nicknamed him the "Superstar of Fistguitar".
