Gaming platform group EveryMatrix announced this week that it has partnered with cloud hosting group Internet Vikings within the state of West Virginia.
The agreement will see EveryMatrix taking advantage of the company's data center located in the Mountaineer State, using the facility as a secondary site. This will allow EveryMatrix to remain in compliance with state regulations. The state requires gaming companies to have separate data centers to make sure operations remain up and running in the event of a cyberattack or other failure occurs.
This move is the latest expansion into the online gaming industry for Internet Vikings, who recently extended an existing agreement with PlayAGS in a similar arrangement. The company began operations in West Virginia last year and became the first company of its type to partner with iGaming providers in the state. It is currently active in 24 states. Outside of West Virginia, Internet Vikings works with the likes of Odds Works, Playstar Gaming, and Crab Sports.
No comment from either group was available at press time.
