Curacao-based game designer SimplePlay announced today that it has launched a new game that it has dubbed 'Bomb Adventure'.
Bomb Adventure is a game is simple but offers big risk and reward. The game sees players with a grid, and players click the tiles looking to get gold nuggets to win while avoiding bombs. The game pays out on a multiplier basis, with your bet amount being the baseline. As you click more tiles the multiplier goes up, along with the risk of losing it all.
The game is very similar to the classic Windows game Minesweeper, which was popular among office workers during the 90s. Unlike that game though, there is no element of skill in figuring out what the bomb tiles are; it's all a matter of luck.
A release from the company regarding the game's backstory read in part: "According to ancient lore, there are mines where immense treasure is kept. However, these mines are also really dangerous. When the mines were first exploited, countless bombs were planted by other miners to blast the rocks open.
"A careless move could lead to disastrous consequences. Staying longer in these networks of underground tunnels increases the danger, but also offers a chance to gather more wealth."
Bomb Adventure can be played now at SimplePlay's partner casinos.
