Authorities in Denmark have come together to form an agreement that'll see multiple groups working on fighting illegal gambling marketing in the country.
The agreement will see the country's Consumer Ombudsman, Gambling Advertising Board, and Danish Gaming Authority all working together to combat the marketing of offshore and illegal betting services to Danish players. The structure will see the Gambling Advertising Board forwarding cases to the Consumer Ombudsman or the Gambling Authority depending on the response of the operators to the objections.
The three groups will also work to share information and hold meetings to work on ways to verify cooperation.
News of the collaboration comes as the country's gaming regulator announced that they'll be hosting a third training session on anti-money laundering training on October 31st. The country has been among the leaders in fighting money laundering and has strict measures in place to help combat the activity.
