Gaming operator 888 Holdings has announced their 2023 fiscal results and has also revealed that it will be rebranding as Evoke plc once it receives shareholder approval.
The rebranding comes as part of 888's Value Creation Plan, which was announced by new CEO Per Widerström, who took on the role last year. During the earnings conference call, he said: "It is incredibly exciting to announce our Value Creation Plan, our strategy for success, our new financial targets, and our new corporate identity. Today marks the beginning of an exciting new dawn for this business."
The VCP will include focusing on core markets like the UK, Denmark, Spain, and Italy, and then looking for markets where they can optimise their return on investment and cash flows. Increased efficiency will also be part of the company's plan moving forward, as 888 will look into cost savings.
This value plan comes as 888 revealed their full-year 2023 financials. The company had revenues of £1.7 billion, up from £1.24 billion in 2022. The company posted a net loss of £56.4 million, which, while better than 2022's £120.5 million, was still considered to be disappointing.
These moves will take some time, and Casino Listings News will be reporting on the changes as they come about.
