Today the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board revealed that land casinos within the state will not be able to offer online betting within their walls when online gambling goes live.
The regulations that are currently on paper state that punters will not be able to play slots, table games, or poker from any land casino properties via their smartphones, tablets, or computers. The move will also apply to horseracing tracks, which draws in a substantial amount of money thanks to slot revenues, and was eagerly looking for ways to boost revenues right from their locations.
The PGCB issued a document related to the regulations, which reads: "The Gaming Control Board will put in place a system that, through the use of GPS software and IP Address identification, will block entry and play of Pennsylvania-licensed internet gaming if a user is outside of the state. In addition, participating in internet gaming when in a Pennsylvania casino will also be blocked."
The decision to block online betting from land casinos likely won't have a major impact on revenues in the short term, but it may end up affecting acquisition numbers down the line, as casinos may have been able to offer promotions on-site for players to sign up for accounts, leaving the apps on their phone for when they go home.

I think these restrictions do make sense in fact, and perhaps isn't that vital for the punters being able to play online when they're in the borders of a casino property anyway.
Like Dustin wrote above that would probably not have much impact on revenues.
