15 Week Challenge........Part One, Week Six

Hello there....I have been slacking on the posts....well the guts of the posts anyhow! I am sorry. The kids have got me all up in a bind, so much with school and wanting to play outside, and then all the stuff that needs to be done inside is just outrageous! Mom's/wife's shouldn't have to tackle everything! I need to make a chart....with who gets what chore...or else I am going to go insane...

I need to decide on what my chart will include and who will do what and when and then get a big poster board, write it all out and then have it laminated, I want to have that up by Saturday! So anyone out there have any ideas on who to delegate which chores to....you know the basics....pick up clothes, put away clothes, clean toilets, mop floors, vacuum, etc....Dishes after dinner....what are the most important things that I need the kids/husband to help with?  My kids are 8.5, 6.5, 4 and almost 1!

This weeks challenge was Violet. I found this purple a couple months back at the dollar tree. It is very very purple! Goes on smooth, no problems, very opaque, creme finish. Love this color, it doesn't have a name...You can see a bottle shot here. I wanted something extra for this Mani, so I added some sparkle to my ring finger, China Glaze Techno.

Flying Dragon is a NEON?....

Hello! How are you all today? It rained here a little while ago, now its sunny, but i just heard thunder, so we'll see....

On one of my first trips to Sally Beauty to explore the China Glaze I was hearing so much about (this was at the beginning of my polish addiction) I found Flying Dragon. Supposedly its a neon, although when I think of neon's I think of bright bright bright, eye blinding colors....Flying Dragon isn't blinding at all....its actually quite muted in my opinion. It goes on well, it has blue and red/pink sparkles in it. It is matte with out a top coat.

I picked up a cheapo polish at the dollar store last week or so, and I wanted to see what it looked liked, so I plopped it on top of this on my ring finger, this comb makes me think of Zoya Roxy. The bottles are made to look like Sally Hansen's Diamond style....with a diamond on the front of the bottle, its called Sunset, but let me tell you something...I will not buy another one, and I almost took this one back...It hurt my nose so badly, it stunk....and it stunk after I put on a top coat...and until the next morning...I don't know if I will ever wear this alone....or at all for that matter....no wonder it was cheap, I should have known!

I'm having a hard time taking nice pictures with my new camera, every time I think I have a decent shot I come inside and crop it and it still looks a bit fuzzy....any tips out there....Maybe I should go back to my light box and see if that helps....

See ya next time!

Dollar Tree Haul...

So, I haven't posted in awhile and I have alot to show you, but right now I have too much to do around my house and won't be able to get to cropping and marking them all up right now...So here is a post about my recent Dollar Tree find, and Big Lots find!

At the Dollar Tree I found nail art polish, they have thin brushes! These were a great find and price! the ones that are standing up in the backround came from Big Lots, there ok, But I like the Dollar Tree ones much better, and that polish next to them is an Elf polsh.

Ok so in this picture the box set came from Big Lots as well and that is going back to the store, it sucked big time, nasty polish, nasty polish brushes, nasty smell! The colored polishes in packages are from the Dollar Tree, this polish is great, nice smooth coats, most one application colors, possible stamping polish! And then the Sally Hansen Double Duty (which is my favorite bottom coat- makes your nails very strong) I got it at Dollar General.

Well I am off to go clean the rest of my house, we have someone coming to look at it today, crossing fingers. And later today hopefully I will get all my recent nail pictures off of my camera and get them on here as drafts So I can just publish them every morning....upcoming: Easter toes, a succesful stamping manicure, a couple swatches....o and my organized stash!
