Abstract
Description
また、ディスプレイ部の最外領域での表示の際には、加飾部は、表面処理層の透過特性により、ディスプレイ部の画像が視認されることにより、加飾部の一部分が存在しないかのように視認される。よって、ディスプレイ部の表示領域の大きさの切替えに伴って、加飾部の見え方に変化を持たせることができる。
本開示の第1実施形態について、図1~図6を用いて説明する。第1実施形態の表示装置は、車両用表示装置100に適用されたものである。図1に示すように、車両用表示装置100は、車両に関連する所定情報をユーザ(視認者)に表示するものとなっている。車両用表示装置100は、車両のインストルメントパネル(以下、インパネ)のユーザ側の面に設けられており、ケース110、基板120、文字板130、メータ部141、142、加飾部151、152、光源部160、ディスプレイ部170、および制御部180等を備えている。
ユーザによって、画像切替えスイッチが操作されて、非重畳領域172での表示要求があると、制御部180は、光源部160を消灯させ、また、ディスプレイ部170における表示を、非重畳領域172における表示に切替える。尚、メータ部141、142においては、制御部180によって、文字板130に形成された目盛部と数字部が発光され、また、ディスプレイ部170のメータ部141、142に対応する内側領域に、目盛画像、数字画像が形成されることによって、速度表示用、および回転速度表示用の目盛部および数字部が全領域にわたって表示される。
ユーザによって、画像切替えスイッチが操作されて、最外領域171での第1パターン表示要求があると、制御部180は、光源部160を消灯させ、また、ディスプレイ部170における表示を、最外領域171における第1パターンの表示に切替える。
ユーザによって、画像切替えスイッチが操作されて、最外領域171での第2パターン表示要求があると、制御部180は、複数の光源部160を部分的に点灯させ(青色ないし緑色)、リング部130b用の光源部を点灯させ、また、ディスプレイ部170における表示を、最外領域171における第2パターンの表示に切替える。
第2実施形態の車両用表示装置100Aを図7に示す。第2実施形態の車両用表示装置100Aは、上記第1実施形態の車両用表示装置100に対して、加飾部151の形状を一部変更すると共に、ディスプレイ部170における画像の形成要領を変更したものである。
第2実施形態の車両用表示装置100Bを図8に示す。第3実施形態の車両用表示装置100Bは、上記第1実施形態の車両用表示装置100に対して、加飾部151の形状を一部変更すると共に、ディスプレイ部170における画像の形成要領を変更したものである。
上記第1実施形態では、ディスプレイ部170に加飾対応画像170aと、加飾部151の非重なり部151bを発光させる光源部160とを設けるものとしたが、これを廃止して、非重畳領域172の表示(図1)と、最外領域171の表示(第1パターン表示、図4)とを切替えるものとしてもよい。あるいは、加飾対応画像170aと、加飾部151の非重なり部151bを発光させる光源部160とのいずれか一方のみを備えるものとしてもよい。
Claims (6)
- 視認側となる第一面と、前記第一面の反対側となる第二面と、開口部(130a)と、を有する文字板(130)と、
前記文字板(130)の前記第一面側に設けられるアナログ式のメータ部(141)と、
前記メータ部(141)の外周部に設けられる加飾用の加飾部(151)と、
前記第二面側に配置されて、前記開口部(130a)から画像表示するディスプレイ部(170)と、
前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像表示の状態を制御する制御部(180)と、を備え、
前記第一面側から投影したときに、前記加飾部(151)を含む前記メータ部(141)の一部に前記ディスプレイ部(170)の最外領域(171)が重なるように配置された表示装置であって、
前記加飾部(151)は、透光性を有する本体部材(1511)と、前記本体部材の表面に設けられた光の透過性と反射性の両特性を有する表面処理層(1512)と、を有し、
前記制御部(180)は、前記ディスプレイ部(170)における前記加飾部(151)を含む前記メータ部(141)と重なりのない非重畳領域(172)での表示、および前記最外領域(171)での表示の切替えを行うようになっており、
前記非重畳領域(172)での表示の際に、前記表面処理層(1512)の反射特性により、前記加飾部(151)の全体が視認され、
前記最外領域(171)での表示の際に、前記表面処理層(1512)の透過特性により、前記加飾部(151)の前記最外領域(171)との重なり部(151a)に、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像が視認される表示装置。 - 前記重なり部(151a)に視認される前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像は、前記重なり部(151a)に対応するように前記制御部(180)によって設けられる加飾対応画像(170a)である請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記加飾部(151)の前記最外領域(171)と重ならない非重なり部(151b)を、前記第二面側から前記加飾対応画像(170a)とは異なる色で発光させる光源部(160)を備え、
前記制御部(180)は、前記光源部(160)の点灯を制御する請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記加飾部(151)は、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像の光を、前記加飾部(151)の周方向に交差する幅方向の領域に拡がるように屈折させる屈折部(151c)と、
前記加飾部(151)の前記幅方向の端部で、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像の光を、前記文字板(130)の面に沿う方向に反射させる反射部(151d)とを有する請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。 - 前記制御部(180)は、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像における前記加飾部(151)との境界部に対応する領域の色および輝度を、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像が前記加飾部(151)を透過した後の光の色および輝度に合せるように調整する請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記制御部(180)は、前記ディスプレイ部(170)の画像における前記加飾部(151)との境界部に対応する領域の色および輝度を、前記加飾部(151)と対応する領域の色および輝度から、前記加飾部(151)が設けられない非形成領域(173)の色および輝度へ、グラデーションによって変化させるように調整する請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。
