Description
前記制御弁は、前記従動回転体をカムシャフトに軸方向から結合固定する筒状のバルブボディと、前記バルブボディ内に軸方向へ摺動自在に収容され、前記各作動室への作動油の給排を切り換えるスプール弁体と、を有し、
前記バルブボディは、軸方向の先端部よりも前記従動回転体寄りの外周面に、前記カムシャフトの一端部の内部軸方向に形成された固定用孔に固定される固定部が形成され、
前記固定部とスプール弁体が、前記バルブボディの軸方向で重なり合う状態で配置されていることを特徴としている。
〔スプール弁体のポジション制御〕
すなわち、以下において、図21に示すスプール弁体52のストローク量と各油圧室11,12や各ロック解除受圧室32,33(ロック通路28)への作動油の給排の関係を示す表を参照しながら、図15A、B~図20A、Bに基づいて前記スプール弁体52のポジション制御を具体的に説明する。

Claims (18)
- クランクシャフトから回転力が伝達され、内部に作動室が形成された駆動回転体と、
カムシャフトの軸方向一端部に固定され、前記駆動回転体内に回転自在に収容されて前記作動室を進角作動室と遅角作動室に隔成すると共に、該両作動室に対して作動油を給排することによって前記駆動回転体に対して進角側あるいは遅角側に相対回転する従動回転体と、を備えたバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁であって、
前記制御弁は、前記従動回転体を前記カムシャフトに軸方向から結合固定する筒状のバルブボディと、前記バルブボディ内に軸方向へ摺動自在に収容され、前記各作動室への作動油の給排を切り換えるスプール弁体と、を有し、
前記バルブボディは、軸方向の先端部よりも前記従動回転体寄りの外周面に、前記カムシャフトの一端部の内部軸方向に形成された固定用孔に固定される固定部が形成され、
前記固定部とスプール弁体が、前記バルブボディの軸方向で重なり合う状態で配置されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項1に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記バルブボディは、軸方向の先端部の外径が前記固定部側の外径よりも小さく形成されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項2に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記バルブボディの前記先端部に、内燃機関によって駆動されるオイルポンプの吐出通路から内部に作動油を導入する導入ポートが形成されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項3に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記バルブボディの内周面に、内部に前記スプール弁体を軸方向へ摺動自在に収容したスリーブを固定したことを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項4に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記バルブボディは、
前記進角作動室に対して作動油を給排する進角ポートと、
前記遅角作動室に対して作動油を給排する遅角ポートと、
前記進角作動室と遅角作動室の間に設けられ、供給された油圧によって前記駆動回転体と従動回転体とのロックを解除するロック機構に対して作動油を給排するロックポートと、
前記進角作動室と遅角作動室とロック機構から作動油を外部に排出するドレンポートと、
を有していることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項5に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記導入ポートから導入される作動油を濾過するフィルタ部材が設けられていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項5に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記バルブボディの先端部の内部に、前記導入ポートを介して前記バルブボディ内から外部への作動油の逆流を規制する逆止弁を設けたことを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項4に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記スリーブは、先端部の外面と前記バルブボディの先端部の内面との間に弾装配置された弾性部材と、前記バルブボディの先端部と軸方向の反対側の位置に固定され、中央に貫通孔が形成された固定部材と、によって前記バルブボディ内に軸方向へ弾性支持されたことを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項4に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において
前記バルブボディは、
前記進角作動室に対して作動油を給排する進角ポートと、
前記遅角作動室に対して作動油を給排する遅角ポートと、
前記進角作動室と遅角作動室から作動油を外部に排出するドレンポートと、
を有していることを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項1に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記固定部は、前記カムシャフトの固定用孔の内周面に形成された雌ねじ部に螺着する雄ねじ部よって構成されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項1に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記スプール弁体の移動は、前記バルブボディの軸方向先端部と反対側の位置に配置されたアクチュエータによって制御されることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項11に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記スプール弁体は、前記アクチュエータの駆動力によって前記バルブボディ内で一方向へ移動する一方、付勢部材によって他方向へ移動するように構成されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項12に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記アクチュエータとスプール弁体は、該スプール弁体の軸方向一端部に設けられた円柱状のプラグを介して当接していることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項13に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記アクチュエータは、軸方向の長さが外径寸法よりも小さい偏平なソレノイド機構によって構成されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項12に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記付勢部材は、前記固定部側に配置されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - 請求項12に記載のバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁において、
前記付勢部材は、前記アクチュエータ側に配置されていることを特徴とするバルブタイミング制御装置の制御弁。 - クランクシャフトから回転力が伝達され、内部に作動室が形成された駆動回転体と、
カムシャフトの軸方向一端部に固定され、前記駆動回転体内に回転自在に収容されて前記作動室を進角作動室と遅角作動室に隔成すると共に、該両作動室に対して作動油を給排することによって前記駆動回転体に対して進角側あるいは遅角側に相対回転する従動回転体と、
オイルポンプから圧送された作動油を前記両作動室に給排制御する制御弁と、
を備え、
前記制御弁は、外周面に前記従動回転体を前記カムシャフトに固定するための固定部を有する筒状のバルブボディと、該バルブボディの内部に摺動自在に収容され、前記進角作動室と遅角作動室に対する作動油の給排を切り換えるスプール弁体と、前記スプール弁体の移動を制御するアクチュエータと、を有し、
前記固定部とスプール弁体が、前記バルブボディの軸方向で重合状態に配置されていることを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。 - 請求項17に記載の内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置において、
前記バルブボディは、
内燃機関によって駆動されるオイルポンプの吐出通路を介して前記バルブボディに作動油を導入する導入ポートと、
前記進角作動室に対して作動油を給排する進角ポートと、
前記遅角作動室に対して作動油を給排する遅角ポートと、
前記進角作動室と遅角作動室の間に設けられ、供給された油圧によって前記駆動回転体と従動回転体とのロックを解除するロック機構に対して作動油を給排するロックポートと、
前記進角作動室と遅角作動室とロック機構から作動油を外部に排出するドレンポートと、
を有していることを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。
