Description

使い捨て着用物品
　本発明は、使い捨て着用物品に関し、より詳しくは、ウエスト域が伸縮性を有する使い捨ておむつ、使い捨てのトイレット・トレーニングパンツ、使い捨て失禁パンツ、使い捨ての生理用パンツ等の使い捨て着用物品に関する。
　従来、前後ウエスト域を画定する前後ウエストパネルと、これらの間に位置するクロッチパネルとを含み、前後ウエストパネルが伸縮性を有する使い捨て着用物品は公知である。例えば、特許文献１には、縦方向へ離間する腹側シートと、背側シートと、これらシートに固定される吸収性本体とを有し、腹側シートおよび背側シートには、複数本の弾性部材が横方向へ伸長状態で配された使い捨ておむつが開示される。弾性部材は、吸収性本体と重なる領域には存在しない。

　上記のような特許文献１では、腹側シートおよび背側シートのいずれにおいても、吸収性本体と重なる領域では弾性部材が存在しない。特に、おむつの腹側においては、着用者の脚の屈伸等により吸収性本体が着用者の肌から離間し易く、離間部分では尿の速やかな吸収が妨げられる。吸収性本体が肌から離間しないように、吸収性本体の両側における弾性体の伸長応力を大きくしたり、吸収性本体に重なる領域に弾性部材を配置したりすると、吸収性本体が着用者の肌に常に密着し、おむつ内の蒸れや着用者の肌のかぶれを引き起こしかねない。
　本発明では、吸収体が着用者の身体から離間しにくく、かつ、蒸れや着用者の肌のかぶれを予防することができる着用物品を提供することを課題とする。
　本発明は、縦方向および横方向を有し、肌対向面およびその反対側である非肌対向面と、前記前後ウエスト域を形成するとともに前記横方向へ弾性的に収縮可能な前後ウエストパネルと、前記前後ウエストパネルの前記縦方向間に延びるとともにクロッチ域を形成するクロッチパネルとを含む使い捨て着用物品の改良にかかわる。

　本発明の特にそのひとつ以上の実施態様によれば、前ウエストパネルは、クロッチパネルが重なる第１領域において、横方向へ伸縮可能な弾性領域を有することとしたので、第１領域を着用者の身体に密着させることができる。また、第１領域において横方向へ離間する複数の凸部が形成されるので、これら凸部間では、通気路を形成することができ、着用物品内の蒸れを予防することができる。また、凸部間では、着用物品の肌対向面の非接触部分が形成されるので、着用者の肌のかぶれを予防することもできる。

　再び図６を参照すれば、第１および第２領域５５，５６に重なる吸収構造体４１の縦方向Ｙにおける寸法Ｄ１およびＤ２は約２０～１２０ｍｍ、前後エンドフラップ４５，４６の縦方向Ｙにおける寸法Ｄ３およびＤ４は約１０～４０ｍｍであることが好ましい。クロッチパネル４０の前後端縁４０Ａ，４０Ｂから前後ウエストパネル２０，３０の外端縁２０Ａ，３０Ａまでの縦方向Ｙにおける寸法Ｄ５およびＤ６は、約５～１００ｍｍであることが好ましい。
　図７を参照すれば、第１接合部５７および第２接合部５８は、第１および第２領域５５，５６の縦方向Ｙへ延びるとともに、横方向Ｘへ離間して複数設けられる。第１および第２接合部５７，５８は、横方向Ｘの最も外側に位置する両側部分５７Ａ，５８Ａと、それらの横方向Ｘ内側に位置する中間部分５７Ｂ，５８Ｂとをそれぞれ有する。両側部分５７Ａ，５８Ａは、横方向Ｘにおける寸法が約２～２０ｍｍであることが好ましく、この実施形態では約１０ｍｍである。中間部分５７Ｂ，５８Ｂは、横方向Ｘにおける寸法が約２～２０ｍｍであることが好ましく、この実施形態では約５ｍｍであり、両側部分５７Ａ，５８Ａに比べて中間部分５７Ｂ，５８Ｂの寸法が小さくされる。第１および第２接合部５７，５８の横方向Ｘにおける離間寸法は約１～１０ｍｍであることが好ましく、この実施形態では約６ｍｍである。第１および第２接合部５７，５８は、例えば、ホットメルト接着剤等の公知の接着手段によって形成することができる。
　前ウエストパネル２０では、その全域において弾性体２３が設けられて横方向Ｘに弾性的に収縮可能とされた弾性領域が形成される。弾性体２３としては、ストリング状またはストランド状の複数本の弾性材料を用いることができ、例えば、太さ約４００～１２００ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を縦方向Ｙにおけるピッチ約４～１２ｍｍで配置し、収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約１．７～３．５倍の伸長倍率で取り付けることができる。この実施形態においては、前ウエストパネル２０の外端縁２０Ａから内端縁２０Ｂに向かって、４７０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約２．４倍の伸長倍率で４本、９４０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約２．１倍の伸長倍率で４本、４７０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約２．１倍の伸長倍率で２本がそれぞれ配置される。
　後ウエストパネル３０において、吸収構造体４１と重なる領域においては、弾性体２３が存在しない非弾性領域３４が画定される。非弾性領域３４は、弾性体３３を配置しないことによって設けることもできるし、吸収構造体４１に重なる領域において弾性体を切断してスナップバックによって弾性が発揮されないようにすることによって設けることもできる。非弾性領域３４の横方向Ｘ外側および縦方向Ｙ外側には、弾性体３３の伸縮力が発揮される弾性領域が形成される。すなわち、弾性領域は、非弾性領域３４をＵ字状に囲むように設けられる。弾性領域に設けられる弾性体としては、ストリング状またはストランド状の複数本の弾性体を用いることができ、例えば、太さ約４００～１２００ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を縦方向Ｙにおけるピッチ約４～１２ｍｍで配置し、約１．７～３．５倍の伸長倍率で取り付けることができる。この実施形態において、非弾性領域３４の縦方向Ｙ外側では、４７０ｄｔｅｘの４本の弾性体が配置され、収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約２．４倍の伸長倍率とされる。非弾性領域３４の横方向Ｘ外側では、９４０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約２．１倍の伸長倍率で１本、９４０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約３．０倍の伸長倍率で３本、４７０ｄｔｅｘの弾性体を収縮（弛緩）状態の長さの約３．０倍の伸長倍率で２本が、それぞれ配置される。
　上記のようなおむつ１は、弾性体２３，３３によって、前後ウエストパネル２０，３０が横方向Ｘに収縮される。図８および図９を参照すれば、前ウエストパネル２０が収縮した場合において、クロッチパネル４０の第１領域５５には、着用者の肌側に突出する凸部５９が形成される。前ウエストパネル２０が横方向Ｘへ弾性を有することによって第１領域５５が収縮されることで、この第１領域５５に縦方向Ｙへ皺が生じる。また、第１領域５５に重なる第１接合部５７に沿って皺ができやすく、この皺によって複数の凸部５９が形成される。特に、第１接合部５７間においては、クロッチパネル４０が前ウエストパネル２０に接合されていないから、前ウエストパネル２０から離間し易く、着用者に向かって浮き上がって凸部５９が形成されやすい。
　第１領域５５において、前エンドフラップ４５は、吸収構造体４１が重なった領域に比べてその剛性が低く、皺になりやすく、凸部５９が形成されやすい。また、吸収構造体４１は、芯材の質量が約３２０～７００ｇ／ｍ２と小さくされ、剛性が比較的低くされているから、特に前エンドフラップ４５に形成された凸部５９に倣うように吸収構造体４１に重なる領域においても、縦方向Ｙへ延びる凸部５９が多数形成される。吸収構造体４１に凸部５９が形成されやすいようにするには、吸収構造体４１が含む芯材の質量をより小さく、約３２０～５００ｇ／ｍ２とすることが好ましいが、３２０ｇ／ｍ２よりも小さい場合には、尿を十分に吸収できずに漏れてしまう可能性がある。上記のように凸部５９が形成されることによって、着用者の肌に接触する面積を小さくすることができ、吸収構造体が直接接触することによる肌のかぶれを予防することができる。
　第１領域５５に形成された凸部５９は、第１接合部５７に沿って縦方向Ｙへ延びるとともに、クロッチ域１３から前ウエストパネル２０の外端縁２０Ａ近傍にまで延びる空気流路を形成する。また、クロッチパネル４０の前端縁４０Ａから前ウエストパネル２０の外端縁２０Ａまでの寸法は、非常に小さくされているから、おむつ１内の空気は、凸部５９からその外へと流動し易く、おむつ１内の蒸れが予防される。
　後ウエストパネル３０においては、非弾性領域３４で弾性体３３の伸縮力が作用しないので、この領域には、皺が生じにくい（図２参照）。したがって、非弾性領域３４においては、吸収構造体４１が広い面積で着用者の肌に密着しやすく、尿等の排泄物を速やかに吸収することができる。おむつ１の着用時において、着用者の排泄器官は、クロッチ域１３の後ウエスト域１２側に位置するから、排泄物は、後ウエスト域１２側に流れやすいが、後ウエスト域１２に位置する第２領域５６において、非弾性領域３４の吸収構造体４１が着用者に密着するので、排泄物を速やかに吸収し易く、排泄物が後ウエストパネル３０の外端縁３０Ａから漏れにくい。特に、新生児のように寝ていることが多い着用者の場合には、排泄物は後ウエスト域１２から漏れやすくなるが、第２領域５６の吸収構造体４１を着用者に密着させることによって、これを防止することができる。
　上記のように非弾性領域３４が吸収構造体４１に重なるようにすると、着用者の動きによって吸収構造体４１が着用者の身体から離間し易くなるが、後ウエストパネル３０における弾性体３３は、その一部が、吸収構造体４１の両側縁４１Ｃと重なるようにされている（図３参照）。したがって、吸収構造体４１の両側縁４１Ｃにおいては、弾性体３３の収縮力が作用し、着用者の身体に押し付けることができるので、その全体が着用者の身体から離間するのを予防することができる。
　非弾性領域３４の縦方向Ｙ外側であって、後エンドフラップ４６には、弾性体３３が配置されて弾性領域が形成され、かつ、第２接合部５８が設けられているから、この後エンドフラップ４６には、第２接合部５８に沿うように、縦方向Ｙへ延びる皺が形成され、これに倣って非弾性領域３４にも皺が生じる可能性もあるが、第１領域５５の吸収構造体４１に形成された凸部５９に比べれば、少なく、かつ、小さい。第２領域５６に形成される皺については、着用者の身体に対する密着性を大幅に損なわない限り許容される。
　前ウエストパネル２０は、その横方向Ｘのほぼ全域において収縮され、前ウエストパネル２０の吸収構造体４１に重なる位置での横方向Ｘにおける寸法が、後ウエストパネル３０のそれよりも小さくされる。また、前ウエストパネル２０の横方向Ｘにおける収縮に倣って、クロッチパネル４０の第１領域５５も収縮され、クロッチ域１３の前方領域全体が横方向Ｘへ収縮される。したがって、クロッチパネルによって着用者の脚の動きが妨げられることがない。
　後ウエストパネル３０では、吸収構造体４１が重なる少なくとも一部分で収縮されないから、第２領域５６が大きく収縮されることがない。仮に、第２領域５６が大きく収縮されると、着用者の臀部を覆う領域が狭くなり、臀部が露出したり、排泄物が漏れたりする可能性があるが、これを未然に防止することができる。
　上記のように、弾性体２３，３３の収縮時において、前ウエストパネル２０側では横方向Ｘの寸法が相対的に小さく、後ウエストパネル３０側では相対的に大きくすることができるので、前後ウエストパネル２０，３０を構成する前後ウエストシート２２，３２を同寸法とすることができ、かつ、クロッチパネル４０の横方向Ｘにおける寸法をその前後で等しくすることができる。すなわち、前後ウエストパネル２０，３０およびクロッチパネル４０を仮想縦中心線２－２にほぼ平行な直線で構成することができる。このような構成にすることによって、複雑な形状にカットする場合に比べて、容易に製造することが可能であり、トリムロスを減少させることもできる。
　第１および第２接合部５７，５８は、中間部分５７Ｂ，５８Ｂに比べて両側部分５７Ａ，５８Ａの方が、横方向Ｘにおける寸法が大きくされる。このように、両側において大きくされることによって、その両側でより強固にクロッチパネル４０を前後ウエストパネル２０，３０に接合することができ、両側からの剥離を予防することができる。ただし、この構成に限定されるものではなく、両側部分と中間部分とが同じ寸法であってもよいし、中間部分のほうが大きくされてもよい。
　前後ウエストパネル２０，３０は、第１および第２接合部５７，５８と外端縁２０Ａ，３０Ａとの縦方向Ｙにおける間では、それぞれ弾性領域が形成される。外端縁２０Ａ，３０Ａではウエスト開口が形成されるから、おむつ１は、少なくともウエスト開口において着用者に密着し、おむつからの排泄物の漏れを予防することができる。
　以上に記載したこの発明に関する開示は、少なくとも下記事項に要約することができる。
　本発明に係る使い捨て着用物品１は、縦方向Ｙおよび横方向Ｘを有し、肌対向面およびその反対側である非肌対向面と、前後ウエスト域１１，１２を形成するとともに前記横方向Ｘへ弾性的に収縮可能な前後ウエストパネル２０，３０と、前記前後ウエストパネル２０，３０の前記縦方向Ｙ間に延びるとともにクロッチ域１３を形成するクロッチパネル４０とを含む。
　本発明は、上記使い捨て着用物品１において、以下の点を含むことを特徴とする。
　前記クロッチパネル４０は、吸収構造体４１と、前記吸収構造体４１の前記縦方向Ｙ外側に位置する前後エンドフラップ４５，４６と、前記吸収構造体４１の一部および前記前エンドフラップ４５を有し前記前ウエストパネル２０の肌対向面に重なる第１領域５５と、前記吸収構造体４１の一部および前記後エンドフラップ４６を有し前記後ウエストパネル３０の肌対向面に重なる第２領域５６とを含む。
　前記第１および第２領域５５，５６は、第１および第２接合部５７，５８によって前記前後ウエストパネル２０，３０にそれぞれ接合され、前記第１接合部５７は、前記横方向Ｘへ離間する複数の部分を有する。
　前記前ウエストパネル２０は、少なくとも前記第１領域５５に重なって前記横方向Ｘへ弾性的に収縮可能な弾性領域を有し、前記後ウエストパネル３０は、前記第２領域５６であって前記吸収構造体４１に重なる非弾性領域３４と、前記非弾性領域３４の前記横方向Ｘ外側に位置し前記横方向Ｘへ弾性的に収縮可能な弾性領域とを有する。
　前記第１領域５５には、前記縦方向Ｙへ延びるとともに、前記横方向Ｘへ離間する複数の凸部９０が形成される。
　上記の発明は、少なくとも下記の実施の形態を含むことができる。
（１）前記前後ウエストパネル２０，３０の収縮状態において、前記前ウエストパネル２０の前記吸収構造体４１に重なる位置での前記横方向Ｘにおける寸法は、前記後ウエストパネル３０のそれよりも小さくされる。
（２）前記第１接合部５７は、前記縦方向Ｙへ延びる。
（３）前記前後ウエストパネル２０，３０は、ウエスト開口を形成し前記横方向Ｘへ延びる外端縁２０Ａ，３０Ａをそれぞれ有するとともに、前記第１および第２接合部５７，５８と前記外端縁２０Ａ，３０Ａとの間において前記横方向Ｘへ弾性的に収縮可能な弾性領域をそれぞれ有する。
（４）前記クロッチパネル４０は、前記横方向Ｘへ延びる前後端縁４０Ａ，４０Ｂを有し、前記前端縁４０Ａから前記前ウエストパネル２０の前記外端縁２０Ａまでの寸法、および、前記後端縁４０Ｂから前記後ウエストパネル３０の前記外端縁３０Ａまでの寸法は、それぞれ５～１００ｍｍである。
（５）前記弾性領域は、ウエストシート２２，３２と、前記ウエストシート２２，３２において前記横方向Ｘへ延びるとともに前記縦方向Ｙへ離間して伸長状態で弾性的に収縮可能に取り付けられた複数の弾性体２３，３３とを有する。
（６）前記第１接合部５７の各部分の前記横方向Ｘにおける寸法は、２～２０ｍｍであり、前記横方向Ｘにおける離間寸法は、１～１０ｍｍである。
（７）前記第１接合部５７は、前記横方向Ｘ両側に位置する両側部分５７Ａが、その前記横方向Ｘ内側に位置する中間部分５７Ｂよりも、前記横方向Ｘにおける寸法が大きくされる。
（８）前記吸収構造体４１は、吸液性の芯材と、前記芯材を覆う被覆シートとを有し、前記芯材の質量は、３２０～７００ｇ／ｍ２である。
（９）前記クロッチパネル４０は、前記吸収構造体４１の吸収面に配置される身体側ライナ４２と、前記吸収構造体４１の底面に配置される防漏シート４３と、前記防漏シート４３を覆うとともに前記吸収構造体４１の前記横方向Ｘ外側で封じ込めカフを形成する封じ込めシート４４とをさらに含み、前記前後エンドフラップ４５，４６は、前記身体側ライナ４２と前記防漏シート４３と前記封じ込めシート４４とによって形成される。
（１０）前記前後ウエストパネル２０，３０は、前記弾性体２３，３３をその収縮力に抗して伸長させた状態において矩形を有し、前記前ウエストパネル２０の横方向Ｘにおける寸法が、前記後ウエストパネル３０のそれと同じである。
　おむつ１を構成する各構成部材には、本明細書に記載されている材料のほかに、この種の分野において通常用いられている、各種の公知の材料を制限なく用いることができる。
　本発明の明細書および特許請求の範囲において、用語「第１」および「第２」は、同様の要素、位置等を単に区別するために用いられている。

Claims (11)

  1. 　縦方向および横方向を有し、肌対向面およびその反対側である非肌対向面と、前後ウエスト域を形成するとともに前記横方向へ弾性的に収縮可能な前後ウエストパネルと、前記前後ウエストパネルの前記縦方向間に延びるとともにクロッチ域を形成するクロッチパネルとを含む使い捨て着用物品において、
    　前記クロッチパネルは、吸収構造体と、前記吸収構造体の前記縦方向外側に位置する前後エンドフラップと、前記吸収構造体の一部および前記前エンドフラップを有し前記前ウエストパネルの肌対向面に重なる第１領域と、前記吸収構造体の一部および前記後エンドフラップを有し前記後ウエストパネルの肌対向面に重なる第２領域とを含み、
    　前記第１および第２領域は、第１および第２接合部によって前記前後ウエストパネルにそれぞれ接合され、前記第１接合部は、前記横方向へ離間する複数の部分を有し、
    　前記前ウエストパネルは、少なくとも前記第１領域に重なって前記横方向へ伸縮可能な弾性領域を有し、
    　前記後ウエストパネルは、前記第２領域であって前記吸収構造体に重なる非弾性領域と、前記非弾性領域の前記横方向外側に位置し前記横方向へ弾性的に収縮可能な弾性領域とを有し、
    　前記第１領域には、前記縦方向へ延びるとともに、前記横方向へ離間する複数の凸部が形成されることを特徴とする前記使い捨て着用物品。
  2. 　前記前後ウエストパネルの収縮状態において、前記前ウエストパネルの前記吸収構造体に重なる位置での前記横方向における寸法は、前記後ウエストパネルのそれよりも小さくされる請求項１記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  3. 　前記第１接合部は、前記縦方向へ延びる請求項１または２記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  4. 　前記前後ウエストパネルは、ウエスト開口を形成し前記横方向へ延びる外端縁をそれぞれ有するとともに、前記第１および第２接合部と前記外端縁との間において前記横方向へ弾性的に収縮可能な弾性領域をそれぞれ有する請求項１～３のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  5. 　前記クロッチパネルは、前記横方向へ延びる前後端縁を有し、
    　前記前端縁から前記前ウエストパネルの前記外端縁までの寸法、および、前記後端縁から前記後ウエストパネルの前記外端縁までの寸法は、それぞれ５～１００ｍｍである請求項１～４のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  6. 　前記弾性領域は、ウエストシートと、前記ウエストシートにおいて前記横方向へ延びるとともに前記縦方向へ離間して伸長状態で弾性的に収縮可能に取り付けられた複数の弾性体とを有する請求項１～５のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  7. 　前記第１接合部の各部分の前記横方向における寸法は、２～２０ｍｍであり、前記横方向における離間寸法は、１～１０ｍｍである請求項１～６のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  8. 　前記第１接合部は、前記横方向両側に位置する両側部分が、その前記横方向内側に位置する中間部分よりも、前記横方向における寸法が大きくされる請求項１～７のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  9. 　前記吸収構造体は、吸液性の芯材と、前記芯材を覆う被覆シートとを有し、前記芯材の質量は、３２０～７００ｇ／ｍ２である請求項１～８のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  10. 　前記クロッチパネルは、前記吸収構造体の吸収面に配置される身体側ライナと、前記吸収構造体の底面に配置される防漏シートと、前記防漏シートを覆うとともに前記吸収構造体の前記横方向外側で封じ込めカフを形成する封じ込めシートとをさらに含み、前記前後エンドフラップは、前記身体側ライナと前記防漏シートと前記封じ込めシートとによって形成される請求項１～９のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
  11. 　前記前後ウエストパネルは、前記弾性体をその収縮力に抗して伸長させた状態において矩形を有し、前記前ウエストパネルの横方向における寸法が、前記後ウエストパネルのそれと同じである請求項１～１０のいずれかに記載の使い捨て着用物品。
