Abstract

 本発明のアクティブマトリクス型表示装置は、互いに交差するように配列された複数のゲートラインおよび複数のソースラインに対応してそれぞれ配設される発光素子回路(100)が、供給される電流に応じて発光する発光素子(103)と、発光素子(103)に供給する電流を制御する駆動用トランジスタ(102)と、駆動用トランジスタ(102)のオンオフ動作を制御する制御用トランジスタ(101)とを備え、駆動用トランジスタ(102)は、ボディ端子を具備しており、このボディ端子に与えられる電圧を用いて、発光素子(103)の輝度補正を行うように構成されている。
