Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'actualisation de logiciel dans un système de péage électronique (1), procédé dans lequel on utilise, pour le déroulement de la facturation, le logiciel configuré comme programme de données et/ou comme programme de traitement de données, d'une version déterminée (Vn) dans un appareil d'un véhicule (4), une nouvelle version (Vn+I) du logiciel étant mise en service dans une centrale de péage (5), ladite centrale de péage (5) et l'appareil du véhicule (4) communiquant entre eux via un réseau radiomobile. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que des informations de version du logiciel en vue de la détection d'un besoin d'actualisation sont échangées entre l'appareil du véhicule (4) et la centrale de péage (5), en ce qu'en cas d'un besoin d'actualisation, un volume de communication requis pour une actualisation est déterminé, et en ce que, lorsque l'appareil du véhicule (4) émet un signal (S) lorsque le volume de communication déterminé dépasse une valeur limite pré-établie, un procédé d'actualisation du type précité, ainsi qu'un système de péage (1) pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé, sont mis en service, ledit système étant plus rapide, moins sujet à des défaillance et plus économique qu'un processus de téléchargement obligatoire via une interface radiomobile (45).
