Abstract
В изобретении раскрыты соединения, фармацевтическая композиция, которая содержит такие соединения, а также применение указанных соединений. Описанные соединения могут быть получены из некоторых гетероарилсодержащих карбоновых кислот и определенных диазабициклоалканов. Данные соединения демонстрируют селективность в отношении нейронных никотиновых рецепторов подтипа α4β2 в центральной нервной системе (ЦНС) и связываются с ними с высокой аффинностью. Описанные соединения и композиции могут применяться для лечения и/или профилактики широкого спектра заболеваний и расстройств, в частности расстройств ЦНС. Соединения могут: (i) изменять количество никотиновых холинергических рецепторов в мозге пациента, (ii) демонстрировать нейрозащитное действие и (iii) при применении в эффективных количествах не приводить к заметным неблагоприятным побочным эффектам (например, таких побочных эффектов, как значительное увеличение кровяного давления и частоты сердцебиения, значительное негативное влияние на желудочно-кишечный тракт и значительное влияние на скелетную мускулатуру).
