Claims (14)
- 대향 기판과 함께 부(負)의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 끼워서 지지하는 절연성 기판과,상기 액정을 배향 규제하기 위해서 상기 절연성 기판 상에 형성된, 상이한 단면형상을 갖는 복수의 배향규제용 돌기물을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단면형상은 폭이 상이한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단면형상은 높이가 상이한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 대략 직교하는 복수의 버스라인으로 획정된 화소영역을 갖는 어레이 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판에 대향하여 배치된 컬러 필터 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판 및 상기 컬러 필터 기판의 사이에 봉입된 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 갖는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 컬러 필터 기판으로서, 제1항 기재의 액정표시장치용 기판을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 대략 직교하는 복수의 버스라인으로 획정된 화소영역을 갖는 어레이 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판에 대향하여 배치된 컬러 필터 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판 및 상기 컬러 필터 기판의 사이에 봉입된 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 갖는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 어레이 기판으로서, 제1항 기재의 액정표시장치용 기판을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 절연성 기판 상에 열가소성 수지를 도포하고 패터닝하여 선폭이 상이한 복수의 열가소성 수지층을 형성하고,상기 복수의 열가소성 수지층을 열처리하여, 높이가 상이한 복수의 배향규제용 돌기물을 동시에 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판의 제조방법.
- 대향 기판과 함께 액정을 끼워서 지지하는 절연성 기판과,상기 절연성 기판 상에 형성되어 셀 두께를 결정하는 복수의 수지 스페이서와,상기 수지 스페이서의 형성재료에 의해서 상기 수지 스페이서의 상면보다 낮은 높이로 상기 절연성 기판 상에 형성된 복수의 더미 패턴을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 수지 스페이서의 형성면은, 상기 더미 패턴의 형성면보다 높은 위치에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서, 상기 절연성 기판 상에, 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 더미 패턴보다 작은 면적을 갖는 더미 테스트 패턴이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 더미 테스트 패턴은, 상기 수지 스페이서의 형성재료로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제7항 내지 제10항 중 어느 1항에 있어서, 상기 수지 스페이서와 상기 더미 패턴의, 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 본 면적의 합계는 표시 영역의 면적의 10% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 대략 직교하는 복수의 버스라인으로 획정된 화소영역을 갖는 어레이 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판에 대향하여 배치되고, 상기 화소영역마다 컬러 필터가 형성된 컬러 필터 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판 및 상기 컬러 필터 기판의 사이에 봉입된 액정을 갖는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 컬러 필터 기판으로서, 제7항 기재의 액정표시장치용 기판을 사용하는것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 대략 직교하는 복수의 버스라인으로 획정된 화소영역을 갖는 어레이 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판에 대향하여 배치되고 상기 화소영역마다 컬러 필터가 형성된 컬러 필터 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판 및 상기 컬러 필터 기판의 사이에 봉입된 액정을 갖는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 어레이 기판으로서, 제7항 기재의 액정표시장치용 기판을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 절연성 기판 상에 수지 재료를 도포하고 패터닝하여, 셀 두께를 결정하는 복수의 수지 스페이서와, 상기 수지 스페이서의 상면보다 낮은 높이의 복수의 더미 패턴을 형성하는 스페이서 형성공정과,상기 복수의 더미 패턴에 광을 조사하여 상기 복수의 수지 스페이서의 막두께의 불균일을 확인하는 검사 공정과,대향 기판과 접합하여 양 기판 사이에 액정을 봉지하는 액정 봉지공정을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
