Description
The present invention relates to a recyclable, eco-friendly paper tape, and more specifically, to a recyclable, eco-friendly paper tape having an eco-friendly alkaline water-dissociable adhesive coated on one side with an adhesive composition that dissociates in alkaline water.
Paper tape is used to maintain the seal of an object by applying an adhesive to one side of the substrate to have appropriate adhesive strength depending on the purpose and method of use so that it remains attached to the skin or to prevent objects separated from each other from separating. It is to keep it in its current state.
In general, packaging paper tape is made of kraft paper as a base material, forming an adhesive layer on one side, forming a polyethylene layer on the other side, and forming a silicone-based release agent layer on the polyethylene layer.
It is a well-known fact that adhesive tape, that is, OPP adhesive tape or adhesive tape made by bonding a PE resin film to the surface of paper, is generally used for industrial purposes (during paper processing at a paper mill) or for packaging packages.
However, not only the existing OPP adhesive tape, but also the adhesive tape made by bonding a PE resin film to the surface of paper is manufactured by applying an oil-based adhesive to the surface of the resin film.
For this reason, when paper packaging is used for packaging, there is the inconvenience and inconvenience of having to remove the vinyl tape one by one at all times when recycling the paper packaging, and even if it is separated separately, the processing cost is high. This has the disadvantage of requiring a lot of waste, and in particular, when it is separated into waste and then incinerated, toxic gas called 'dioxin' is emitted during the incineration process, causing air pollution and a waste of resources.
Current environmental problems are serious enough to cause trade disputes between countries. Many products produced indiscriminately through the process of industrialization have various side effects, such as threatening the natural ecosystem during use or during the waste disposal process after use. As a result, the development of improvement measures is becoming a global issue.
In the traditional sense, environmental preservation activities were limited to somewhat passive actions such as shortening the natural decomposition time of collected waste or preparing supplementary measures to suppress the generation of hazardous substances, but recently, it has been used as an effort to promote efficient recycling of scarce resources. This led to an active search for eco-friendly recycling.
In particular, when synthetic resin or polyethylene-coated release paper was mixed with general recycled paper and disposed of, recycling was very difficult, and the adhesive of the paper tape that had to be separated along with it was usually made of oil-based or synthetic resin such as acrylic or rubber. Since it is used in the form of an emulsion, it has poor cold resistance, sealing ability, and preservation (change over time), and when repulping, suspended particles in the emulsion coagulate again on the surface, necessitating secondary removal, so it is not easy to process. As a result, no plan for recycling conventional paper tapes has been proposed.
Accordingly, in the present invention, while continuing research to solve the above problems, an adhesive composition that easily dissociates in alkaline solvents was applied to one side of the paper tape base paper and used as an adhesive, so that when recycling paper boxes for packaging, the paper was used as an adhesive. The purpose is to provide a paper tape with an eco-friendly alkaline water dissociable adhesive that can be recycled in its attached state without having to remove the tape one by one, thereby achieving significant economic and environmental protection effects.
Therefore, the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problem. When recycling a paper packaging box, it is possible to recycle the paper tape in an attached state without removing it one by one, thereby improving economic efficiency and environmental protection. The purpose is to provide an eco-friendly paper tape that can be obtained.

Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of a paper tape (10) consisting of a paper base (1), an adhesive layer (2), a printing layer (3a), a coating layer (3b), and a peeling layer (3c) according to the present invention.
Hereinafter, the paper tape according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
In the present invention, it is a paper tape having an adhesive layer coated with an adhesive composition on one side of a paper base paper, wherein the adhesive composition is made of a multifunctional acrylic copolymer using an unsaturated ester condensate, and the adhesive layer is dissolved in alkaline water. Provides a recyclable, eco-friendly paper tape that is dissociated by
Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of an environmentally friendly paper tape (10) consisting of a paper base (1), an adhesive layer (2), and a release layer (3) according to the present invention.
The paper tape with an eco-friendly alkaline water dissociable adhesive according to the present invention is a paper tape in which an adhesive composition is applied to one side of a base paper material having a certain width and thickness. The adhesive composition forms an adhesive layer between the base paper and the adherend, and is formed by applying the adhesive composition to one side of the base paper to a predetermined thickness and then drying it.
In the present invention, the base paper made of paper may be paper such as fine paper, kraft paper, glassine paper, coated paper, etc., but the weight per unit area is in the range of 60 g / ㎡ to 80 g / ㎡ to ensure the mechanical rigidity of the paper tape. It is preferable to use kraft paper. If the weight per unit area is less than 60g/m2, the tearing strength is low and it is unsuitable for packaging purposes. If the weight per unit area is more than 80g/m2, the tearing strength is so high that it is difficult to cut the tape with bare hands.
The adhesive layer (2) is formed on one side of the paper base paper (1), and allows the paper base paper (1) to be adhered to the packaging object or the release layer (3) to be attached to the lower part to enable release. The adhesive layer 2 may have a thickness of 10 to 30% based on the total thickness of the paper tape 10.
