Abstract
Description
Claims (23)
- CO를 포함하는 기체상 기질의 미생물 발효에 의한 2,3-부탄디올의 생산 방법으로서,
a. CO를 포함하는 기체상 기질을 생물 반응기에 제공하는 단계, 및
b. 1종 이상의 아세트산생성 클로스트리듐 박테리아(acetogenic Clostridium bacteria)의 배양액을 함유하는 생물 반응기 내에서 상기 CO를 포함하는 기질을 혐기성 발효시켜 2,3-부탄디올을 생성시키는 단계
를 포함하고, 상기 CO를 포함하는 기체상 기질은 배양액에 의하여 0.4 mmol CO/세균 건조 세포 중량 g/분 이상의 CO 비흡수율(比吸收率)이 유지되도록 제공되는 것인 2,3-부탄디올의 생산 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기질은 0.6 mmol CO/g/분 이상의 CO 비흡수율이 유지되도록 제공되는 것인 방법.
- a. CO를 포함하는 기질을 제공하는 단계;
b. 1종 이상의 2,3-부탄디올 데하이드로게나아제 유전자를 포함하는, 1종 이상의 아세트산생성 클로스트리듐 박테리아의 배양액을 함유하는 생물 반응기 내에서 상기 기질을 혐기성 발효시키는 단계;
c. 2,3-부탄디올이 상기 박테리아에 의하여 생성되도록 2,3-부탄디올 데하이드로게나아제 유전자를 상향 조절하는 단계
를 포함하는, 미생물 발효에 의한 2,3-부탄디올의 생산 방법. - 삭제
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 CO를 포함하는 기질은 2,3-부탄디올이 생성되도록 충분한 양으로 제공되는 것인 방법.
- 제3항 또는 제5항에 있어서, 상기 CO를 포함하는 기질은 배양액에 의하여 0.4 mmol CO/세균 세포 건조 중량 g/분 이상의 CO 비흡수율이 유지되도록 제공되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 1종 이상의 박테리아는 클로스트리듐 오토에타노게늄 (Clostridium autoethanogenum)인 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 및 제5항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 CO를 포함하는 기질은 기체상이고, 적어도 15 내지 100 부피%의 CO를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 CO를 포함하는 기질은 산업 공정으로부터의 부산물로서 얻은 기체를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- a. 기질을 제공하는 단계와,
b. 클로스트리듐 오토에타노게늄 (Clostridium autoethanogenum)의 배양액을 포함하는 생물 반응기 내에서 상기 기질을 혐기성 발효시켜 2,3-부탄디올을 생성시키는 단계
를 포함하는 미생물 발효에 의한 2,3-부탄디올의 생산 방법. - 제10항에 있어서, 상기 기질은 1종 이상의 탄수화물을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 1종 이상의 탄수화물을 포함하는 기질을 제공하는 단계의 이전, 이 단계와 동시에, 또는 이 단계의 후에 CO를 포함하는 기질을 제공하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 방법.
