Abstract

PURPOSE:To speed up a reading speed and a shifting speed of an original by providing plural line scanning function parts at a reading part. CONSTITUTION:A reading part 2 has three line scanning units A, B and C. An original 3 is inputted by an operator, and shifted in the (F) direction of an arrow by the conveying means not shown in the figure. The picture data read by the reading part 2 are stored to a memory part 4 at the line unit, and the processing such as the arrangement conversion, editing, etc., of the scanning line is executed. When reading is executed by a line scanning unit A only, the 1/3 speed is obtained when three scanning lines are simultaneously read by three line scanning units A, B and C.

て、読取シ速度が遅く、ファクシミリ装置のスループッ
トの制約要因となる欠点がある。
