Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the heat exchanger by a method wherein a plurality of thin plate like pipes composed of a material having heat transmitting property and moisture permeability such as asbestos of the like are disposed in an array and primary air flow is flowed inside of the pipes and secondary air flow, which is divided with partition walls so as to prevent the flow from mixing inwardly, is flowed outside of the pipes respectively. CONSTITUTION:Elements 5 are made cylindrically of a sheet plate material having heat transmitting property and moisture permeability such as asbestos or the like. The primary air flow (a) is flowed inside of the elements 5, a plurality of which are disposed in an array, and the secondary air flow (b) is flowed outside of the elements 5. A case consists of side walls 8 and upper and lower walls 9, all of which are made of resin or metal. The partition walls 7 made of asbestos or the like are arranged parallel to the flow direction of the secondary air flow (b) so as to prevent said secondary air flow (b) from mixing inwardly. In addition, fins 6 are arranged within each of the elements 5 in order to form large heating surface area.
