Claims (16)
- a. TiO2、ZrO2、SiO2、CeO2、及びAl2O3から選択される金属酸化物上に担持されているバナジウムを含む第1のSCR触媒ゾーンと;
b. 銅担持小細孔モレキュラーシーブを含む第2のSCR触媒ゾーンと
を含む、排ガスを処理するためのシステムであって、
システムを通る通常の排ガスの流れに対して、第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが第2のSCR触媒ゾーンの上流に配置され、
第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが第2のSCR触媒ゾーンと比較してより高いウォッシュコート担持量を有し、銅の全担持量がバナジウムの全担持量よりも高く、銅-触媒のウォッシュコートが2.5-4.5g/in 3 の担持量で基材に塗布される、システム。 - 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが金属酸化物の総重量を基準として0.5-4重量パーセントのバナジウムを含み、第2のSCR触媒ゾーンがモレキュラーシーブの総重量を基準として1-4重量パーセントの銅を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが銅以外の遷移金属を含まない、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンがバナジン酸鉄を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンと第2のSCR触媒ゾーンとの間に配置されているいかなる排ガス処理触媒も含まない、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第1及び第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが、入口端、出口端、及び入口端から出口端まで測定された軸長を有するフロースルー型ハニカム基材上にコーティングされており、第1及び第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが隣接するか又は少なくとも部分的に重なる、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第2のSCR触媒ゾーンの下流に酸化触媒ゾーンをさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが酸化触媒ゾーンに完全に重なる、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが、軸長を有する押出バナジウム触媒のハニカム基材上にコーティングされており、第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが、軸長の10-90パーセントを覆うウォッシュコートである、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが、入口側及び出口側を有するウォールフロー型フィルタ上にあり、第2のSCR触媒ゾーンが、フロースルー型ハニカム基材上にあり、ただし第1のSCR触媒ゾーンと第2のSCR触媒ゾーンとの間に介在する触媒がないことを条件とする、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 第1のSCR触媒ゾーンの上流に配置されている部分的NOx吸収剤をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 第2のSCR触媒ゾーンの下流のフロースルー型基材上にコーティングされているアンモニアスリップ触媒をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 第2のSCR触媒ゾーンの下流のフロースルー型基材上にコーティングされているアンモニアスリップ触媒をさらに含む、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- エンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャー、及びエンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャーから部分的NOx吸収剤へ排ガスを流すための導管をさらに含み、ただしシステムがエンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャーと部分的NOx吸収剤との間に排ガス処理触媒を何も含まないことを条件とする、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- エンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャー、及びエンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャーから部分的NOx吸収剤へ排ガスを流すための導管をさらに含み、ただしシステムがエンジンマニホールド又はターボチャージャーと部分的NOx吸収剤との間に排ガス処理触媒を何も含まないことを条件とする、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- アンモニアと内燃機関から生じる排ガスとの混合物を、(a)TiO2、ZrO2、SiO2、CeO2、及びAl2O3から選択される金属酸化物上に担持されたバナジウムを含む第1のSCR触媒ゾーン並びに(b)銅担持小細孔モレキュラーシーブを含む第2のSCR触媒ゾーンと、連続して接触させる工程を含む、排ガスの処理方法であって、排ガスの流れに対して、第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが第2のSCR触媒ゾーンの上流に配置され、第1のSCR触媒ゾーンが第2のSCR触媒ゾーンと比較してより高いウォッシュコート担持量を有し、銅の全担持量がバナジウムの全担持量よりも高く、銅-触媒のウォッシュコートが2.5-4.5g/in 3 の担持量で基材に塗布される、方法。
