Description
前記燃焼室に新気を導入させる複数の吸気ポートと、
複数の前記吸気ポートを集合する吸気集合部と、
EGRガスが通るEGR流路と、を備え、
前記複数の排気ポートの排気出口と前記EGR流路のEGRガス入口とが、平坦な第1の側面に並べて配置され、
前記吸気集合部の新気入口と前記EGR流路のEGRガス出口とが、前記第1の側面と逆側となる平坦な第2の側面に並べて配置されているものである。
前記燃焼室を冷却水で冷却するウォータージャケットと、
前記サーモスタットケースと前記ウォータージャケットに連通する冷却水通路と、をさらに備え、
前記ウォータージャケットは、冷却水が排気側から吸気側へ向かうように形成され、
前記冷却水通路は、冷却水が排気側から前記サーモスタットケース側に向かうように形成されており、
前記排気側の前記ウォータージャケットの高さは、前記吸気側の前記ウォータージャケットの高さよりも高く形成され、
前記サーモスタットケース側の前記冷却水通路の高さは、前記排気側の前記冷却水通路の高さ以上に形成されているものでもよい。

Claims (3)
- 燃焼室から排気ガスを導出させる複数の排気ポートと、
前記燃焼室に新気を導入させる複数の吸気ポートと、
複数の前記吸気ポートを集合する吸気集合部と、
EGRガスが通るEGR流路と、
上部が開口して冷却水出口管と連通されるサーモスタットケースと、
前記燃焼室を冷却水で冷却するウォータージャケットと、
前記サーモスタットケースと前記ウォータージャケットに連通する冷却水通路と、を備え、
前記複数の排気ポートの排気出口と前記EGR流路のEGRガス入口とが、平坦な第1の側面に並べて配置され、
前記吸気集合部の新気入口と前記EGR流路のEGRガス出口とが、前記第1の側面と逆側となる平坦な第2の側面に並べて配置されており、
前記ウォータージャケットは、冷却水が排気側から吸気側へ向かうように形成され、
前記冷却水通路は、冷却水が排気側から前記サーモスタットケース側に向かうように形成されており、
前記排気側の前記ウォータージャケットの高さは、前記吸気側の前記ウォータージャケットの高さよりも高く形成され、
前記サーモスタットケース側の前記冷却水通路の高さは、前記排気側の前記冷却水通路の高さ以上に形成されている、エンジンのシリンダヘッド。 - 前記サーモスタットケースの冷却水出口は、平坦に加工された上面の加工面にて開口している、請求項1に記載のシリンダヘッド。
- 請求項1または2に記載のシリンダヘッドを備え、
前記サーモスタットケースの直下に冷却水ポンプが配置されている、エンジン。
