Description
本発明は、着色コンタクトレンズに関する。具体的には、本発明は、レンズ着用者の虹彩の生来の色彩を変化させるか又は強調するコンタクトレンズを提供する。
虹彩の生来の色彩を変化させるか又は強調するために着色又はカラーコンタクトレンズを使用することは周知である。通常の着色レンズの製造において、自然に見える薄い色合いを虹彩に生じさせる目的で、単数又は複数の有色層で半透明色と不透明色の一方又は双方を使用することが知られている。典型的には、有色層はそれぞれ、単一の厚さで張り付けられる。これによって、半透明な有色層が別の有色層に重なる複数の有色層又は点を使用するだけで、色彩の変化がもたらされる。しかしながら、生来の虹彩は、多数の様々な色彩、及び混在して色彩の変化を生じる色彩の組み合わせで構成されている。着色コンタクトレンズの生産に使用することができる色彩及び有色層は比較的少数であるため、自然に見えるレンズを設計者が作製する力には限界がある。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
加えて、通常の着色レンズは、生来の虹彩の立体的な外観に欠けるという点で不利である。この結果として、レンズが眼球上に装着されたときの外観は平坦で不自然なものとなる。
〔実施態様〕
(1) 少なくとも1つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を含む、コンタクトレンズ。
(2) 少なくとも1つの透明層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの有色層を含む、コンタクトレンズ。
(3) 前記有色層の各々が、透明な無色の中央ゾーンと、有色のゾーンとを含む、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(4) 前記有色層の各々が、透明な無色の中央ゾーンと、有色のゾーンとを含む、実施態様2に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(5) 前記中央ゾーンが実質的に円形であり、前記有色のゾーンが、前記中央ゾーンを囲む環状ゾーンである、実施態様3に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(6) 前記中央ゾーンが実質的に円形であり、前記有色のゾーンが、前記中央ゾーンを囲む環状ゾーンである、実施態様4に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(7) 前記透明層の各々の厚さが約5〜約150μmであり、各有色層の厚さが約5〜約15μmである、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(8) 前記透明層の各々の厚さが約5〜約150μmであり、各有色層の厚さが約5〜約15μmである、実施態様2に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(9) 少なくとも2つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を含むコンタクトレンズであって、前記透明層の各々の厚さが約5〜約150μmであり、各有色層の厚さが約5〜約50μmである、コンタクトレンズ。
(10) 前記透明層のうちの1つが、他の前記透明層の各々よりも薄い、実施態様10に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(11) 着色コンタクトレンズを提供する方法であって、少なくとも1つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を前記レンズ内に設ける工程を含む、方法。
(12) 着色コンタクトレンズを提供する方法であって、少なくとも1つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を前記レンズの表面上に設ける工程を含む、方法。
Claims (3)
- 少なくとも2つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を含むコンタクトレンズにおいて、
前記有色層の各々が、透明な無色の中央ゾーンと、有色のゾーンとを含み、
前記中央ゾーンが実質的に円形であり、前記有色のゾーンが、前記中央ゾーンを囲む環状ゾーンであり、
前記透明層は、第1の層の厚さが5〜15μmであり、その後の層の厚さは、それぞれ前記第1の層の厚さより厚く、5〜150μmであり、
各有色層は、厚さが5〜15μmであり、
前記透明層の第1の層は、当該コンタクトレンズの前部表面をなす、コンタクトレンズ。 - 前記透明層は、前記その後の層の厚さが5〜50μmである、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 着色コンタクトレンズを提供する方法であって、少なくとも2つの有色層と交互に並ぶ少なくとも2つの透明層を前記レンズ内に設ける工程を含み、前記有色層の各々が、透明な無色の中央ゾーンと、有色のゾーンとを含み、前記中央ゾーンが実質的に円形であり、前記有色のゾーンが、前記中央ゾーンを囲む環状ゾーンであり、前記透明層は、第1の層の厚さが5〜15μmであり、その後の層の厚さは、それぞれ前記第1の層の厚さより厚く、5〜150μmであり、各有色層の厚さが5〜15μmであり、前記透明層の第1の層は、当該コンタクトレンズの前部表面をなす、方法。
