Claims (6)
- 樹脂ブーツの端部を金属製の相手部材に固定するに際し、
樹脂ブーツの端部内周に設けた円筒状の取付面を相手部材の外周に設けた円筒状の被取付面に衝合させた状態で相手部材の被取付面にレーザを照射することにより、樹脂ブーツの端部のうち相手部材のレーザ被照射部との接触部に樹脂ブーツの構成樹脂が溶融してなる溶融部を形成した後、溶融部の形成位置において樹脂ブーツの構成樹脂と相手部材の構成金属との間に物理的相互作用を生じさせて両者の接合部を形成することにより、前記取付面を前記被取付面に衝合状態で接合一体化することを特徴とする等速自在継手の製造方法。 - レーザのうち、そのフォーカス位置からずらした部分を前記被取付面に照射する請求項1記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
- 樹脂ブーツの端部を透過させるようにして前記被取付面にレーザを照射する請求項1又は2に記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
- 溶融部周辺の融液と、前記取付面と前記被取付面とを衝合させた状態にするために樹脂ブーツおよび相手部材を挟持したクランプ機構から付与される加圧力とにより、前記物理的相互作用を生じさせる請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
- 樹脂ブーツとして、熱可塑性エラストマーを主成分とする樹脂材料で形成されたものを使用する請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
- 相手部材として、その被取付面に防錆処理が施されたものを使用する請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
