Claims (6)
- 記録媒体に対して液体を吐出するヘッドと、
前記ヘッドに供給される液体を貯留するタンクと、
前記タンク内の液体を前記ヘッドに供給する供給手段と、
前記タンク内に形成された外流路と、
前記タンク内に前記外流路に内包されるように形成され、前記供給手段により前記タンク内の液体が前記ヘッドに供給されるときに前記外流路よりも高い内圧を受ける内流路とを備え、
前記内流路を画定する内壁の少なくとも一部であって、前記外流路に接する部分が、フィルムにより構成されていることを特徴とする液体吐出装置。 - 前記供給手段は、パージ時に、前記タンク内の液体を前記ヘッドに供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出装置。
- 前記供給手段は、前記タンクの外壁に一体的に固定された、前記タンク内の液体に圧力を付加するポンプであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の液体吐出装置。
- 前記ポンプの出口が前記内流路に接続していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液体吐出装置。
- 前記内流路に、流路断面積が拡大された拡大部が設けられており、
前記ポンプは、前記拡大部にそれぞれ出口が接続された複数気筒を有する、ダイヤフラムポンプであり、
前記拡大部を画定する内壁の少なくとも一部が前記フィルムにより構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液体吐出装置。 - 前記内流路を画定する内壁が溶着部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の液体吐出装置。
