Claims (4)
- 一主面を画像表示面とする表示パネルと、この表示パネルの周縁部を覆う額縁状のフレームと、前記表示パネルの画像表示面側に配置され、該表示パネルの周縁部との間で前記額縁状フレームを挟み込むタッチパネルとを備えた平面表示装置において、
前記額縁状フレームが、金属フレームと、黒色の樹脂材料を用いたアウトサート成形により前記金属フレームに一体に形成されたアウトサート成形樹脂部とからなり、このアウトサート成形樹脂部が、前記金属フレームの内縁及びその近傍を、前記タッチパネルの側から覆うことを特徴とする平面表示装置。 - 前記アウトサート成形樹脂部の外縁が、タッチパネルの端面よりも外側へと突き出しており、前記アウトサート成形樹脂部は、その外縁に沿った箇所に、タッチパネルの端面に突き当てて位置決めを行うためのリブ状の突起を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平面表示装置。
- 一主面を画像表示面とする表示パネルと、この表示パネルの周縁部を覆う額縁状のフレームと、前記表示パネルの画像表示面側に配置され、該表示パネルの周縁部との間に前記額縁状フレームを挟み込むタッチパネルとを備えた平面表示装置の製造方法において、
前記額縁状フレームを製造する工程は、非塗装の金属板に板金加工を施して金属フレームを作製する工程と、この金属フレームを金型にセットした後、黒色の樹脂を金型内に流し込むことにより、少なくとも前記金属フレームの内縁及びその近傍を、前記タッチパネルの側から覆う黒色の樹脂部を形成するアウトサート成形工程とを含むことを特徴とする平面表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記アウトサート成形工程の際、黒色の樹脂部の外縁に沿った箇所に、タッチパネルの位置決めを行うためのリブ状の突起が同時に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の平面表示装置の製造方法。
