Claims (6)
- 炭化ケイ素を含むセラミック本体と酸化物層とを含み、該酸化物層はアルミナのコーティングを有するセラミック本体の酸化により形成されていて、該アルミナの粒径は1.0ミクロン未満であり、該酸化物層は、シリカを含む非晶質マトリックス相と該非晶質マトリックス相に存在する結晶質相とを含有しており、該結晶質相はアルミナ及びアルミノケイ酸塩のうちの少なくとも一方を含む針状の結晶を含み、該非晶質マトリックス相と該結晶質相は該セラミック本体を覆う均一なコンフォーマル層を形成している、セラミック部材。
- 前記非晶質相に含まれるホウ素を更に含む、請求項1記載のセラミック部材。
- 炭化ケイ素を含むセラミック本体に粒径1.0μm未満のアルミナを接触させること、及び、
該セラミック本体に酸化物層を形成し、該酸化物層は、シリカを含む非晶質マトリックス相と該非晶質マトリックス相に存在する結晶質相とを含有しており、該結晶質相はアルミナ及びアルミノケイ酸塩のうちの少なくとも一方を含む針状の結晶を含み、該セラミック本体を覆う均一なコンフォーマル層を形成すること、
を含む、セラミック部材の製造方法。 - 酸化の前に前記セラミック本体にホウ素を接触させることを更に含む、請求項3記載の方法。
- 加熱炉内にセラミック部品と、少なくとも1つの請求項1記載のセラミック部材とを供給すること、及び、
該セラミック部品と該少なくとも1つのセラミック部材とを熱処理すること、
を含む、セラミック部品の加工方法。 - 1500℃以下の温度で1時間以上熱処理を行う、請求項5記載のセラミック部品の加工方法。
