上記着色骨材(B)と上記着色顔料(C)との重量比が100:1~100:50であることを特徴とする被覆材。
2.モース硬度5以下の粉粒体(D)を含むことを特徴とする1.記載の被覆材。
3.鏝塗りに適用可能であることを特徴とする1.または2.に記載の被覆材。
・樹脂1:アクリル樹脂エマルション(固形分50重量%、ガラス転移温度30℃、平均粒子径120nm)
・着色骨材1:白色珪砂(モース硬度7.0の珪砂を白色着色材で表面被覆処理したもの、平均粒子径150μm)
・着色顔料1:黒色顔料分散液(カーボンブラック(平均粒子径0.05μm)の20重量%分散液)

被塗面として、予め白色のシーラー塗装を施したスレート板を用意した。この被塗面上に、被覆材1を金属製鏝で塗着させ、直ちにこれらを金属製鏝で塗り広げて均すことにより塗面を形成した。被覆材1の塗付け量(固形分換算)は450g/m2とした。24時間乾燥後、被膜の外観を確認したところ、低光沢で平坦な自然な質感を呈する白色被膜が得られた。
被覆材1に替えて被覆材2を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で塗装を行い、被膜の外観を確認したところ、低光沢で平坦な自然な質感を呈する白色被膜が得られた。
被覆材1に替えて被覆材3を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で塗装を行い、被膜の外観を確認したところ、低光沢で平坦な自然な質感を呈する白色被膜が得られた。
被覆材1に替えて被覆材4を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で塗装を行い、被膜の外観を確認したところ、低光沢で平坦な自然な質感を呈する灰色被膜が得られた。
被覆材1に替えて被覆材5を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で塗装を行ったところ、白色被膜の中に黒っぽい筋が散見された。
被覆材1に替えて被覆材6を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で塗装を行ったところ、実施例のような質感は得られず、単調な白色被膜となった。
Claims (3)
- 着色骨材を含む被覆材であって、
樹脂成分(A)、モース硬度5超の骨材を基体粒子とする着色骨材(B)、及び着色顔料(C)を含み、上記樹脂成分(A)の固形分100重量部に対し、上記着色骨材(B)を20~2000重量部含み、
上記着色骨材(B)と上記着色顔料(C)との重量比が100:1~100:50であることを特徴とする被覆材。 - モース硬度5以下の粉粒体(D)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の被覆材。
- 鏝塗りに適用可能であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の被覆材。
